Very good French Roast
I add to my Gaggia machine when I want a decaf, like at night. Prior to Gaggia we had a Senseo and used this brand (non-decaf) for about 8 years. Convenient pods, sealed in packets.

Wanted to love it
I recently switched to pods. Since I love dark rich coffee I really wanted this to be my new favorite. I like that each pod is individually wrapped. I keep thinking that because of that I will get an amazing fresh coffee smell when I open a package but I don't. I would guess it stale but maybe that is how it is meant to be. There is no sell by date so I don't know if it is fresh or not. I've tried several cups really wanting to like it. I can say it's smooth, but I think the Melitta and Senseo with less coffee per pod have more flavor than the Baronet.

flavor is okay, need two pods for a decent cup of strong coffee
The coffee is okay. I like strong coffee so when I would use two pods I would use less water and it would be just okay. Now tha tI have switched to black coffee, the two pods are fine. So if you use cream, milk or sugar, this product may not be strong enough. If you like your coffee black and strong, it should be okay.

good taste, bad fit
I liked the taste of these pods, but the fit was really bad. I like to make 2 cups at one time using the 2 pod holder, but you can't with these. They are too big, so you have to put 1 pod in the 2 pod holder and make a single cup at a time then dump the pod and load it again for the second cup. Also, when I make iced coffee, I usually put in 2 pods and make a double strength coffee and then add ice. That isn't possible with these, because you can't put 2 pods in at one time. I will not be buying these again.

Too weak for a dark french roast
I do like strong coffee, which is why I bought this, but to get a descent tasting cup of coffee I have to use two pods, which makes for a very expensive cup of coffee. I won't be buying this again, but if you like medium roast, then this is for you.

coffee pods
the taste is good, but the price is so much more than when senseo first came out. have to use them sparingly. Plus they are slightly fatter then senseo pods so you have to be careful to seat them so they don't leak.

Taste preety good but
The taste is pretty good but it must be very finely ground because the flow from my one cup Bunn coffee maker is very slow. It takes a long time to get a cup of coffee.

best decaf pods for senseo
I love the convenience of the Senseo machine but hate most of the decaf pod options. Can't drink much caffeine anymore but still love a good tasting cup of coffee and I've found these Baronet Decaf French Roast pods to be the best to my taste. I like my coffee dark roasted and somewhat strong to balance out the sugar and half&half I put in it.These pods are loaded up a lot thicker than other Senseo pods... so much that I have to use the 2-pod filter instead, which isn't a problem and beats using 2 pods to get a mug full of joe. Also I love that they're individually packaged so that unused pods stay fresh longer.
