Matouks Hot Sauce, Pepper, 10 Ounce

I LOVE hot sauce. There's a fine balance, to me Tabasco sauce is bland, back in the good old days Trappy's offered a vinegary full bodied kick but it wasn't hot. This sauce is incredible, the flavor is addicting! It is hot but not overpowering. I too discovered this at Clare and Don's Beach Shack and I've never looked back.I also love sriracha but that's a different flavor. It's sweeter, not vinegary and not as hot for your comparison.

I was so pleased to find a place to buy this hot sauce - a restaurant I go to on occasion always has it out on the tables and I keep craving it. I'm a heat lover, so be warned this stuff has quite a kick. But, I've gone from just putting a couple of small drops of it on a burrito or beans and rice to now using it as heavily as I would regular hot sauce/Tabasco. Shipping charges are a little pricey but they package it up well to ensure the bottles don't break.

Very hot and tasty. Not bitter like so many other hot sauces.

I was introduced to this sauce by a neighbor and the whole family is now keen on it. It has just a little more zip than Tabasco but the flavor beats everything, including Tabasco, hands down. My whole family are hot sauce lovers and some like the sauce so hot it makes you cry, however, this is not the case with Matouks....... it is the flavor, man, it is the flavor. Try it on an omelet or with blue corn tortilla chips straight from the bottle. You'll love it! The Amazon service was spot on too.

I'm from Nigeria and this sauce is authentic! It has a really nice flavor... very tasty indeed. My husband is Caucasian and he loves scotch bonnet peppers amongst others. He is a fan of this sauce and so is my sister! I've ordered from this seller several times already and as long as they keep up the authenticity of their sauces, I'll continue to order from them.

My first experience with Matouk's Hot Pepper Sauce was at Clare & Don's Beach Shack in Falls Church, VA. The taste / heat combination was so appealing that I had to find a supplier. Scotch bonnets are the primary pepper used so the heat is significant, but the flavor is what put it on my 'must have' list.

Would be better if they left out the mustard.
