This did it's purpose except that when used in the car BOTH for charging and for sound the speakers make a high pitched noise that increases as my car accelerates. Additionally the plastic bit that covers the charge port and wires has now come off and I'm assuming that at some point the wires will become frayed and come off-- for now I can still push it into the phone. It's cheap though so I guess it served it's purpose temporarily but will prob just get a dongle from Apple next time. ALSO - after my latest Apple update this only works if my phone is left unlocked -- it switches back to my phone's speaker if the phone locks at all.

I was looking forward to using this with my iphone 7. The first time I used it, I noticed that the item seemed very flimsy however it seemed to work. Less than an hour later, I unplugged my iphone and the next time I tried to use it I got no sound output. I was able to occasionally get it to work by unplugging the charging cable, but even then it would randomly stop playing and distorted the sound.

This item does not work. I have it set up with my Iphone XS Max and a regular aux headphone. There is static feedback on my headphones and sometimes the sounds will just come out of my phone speakers instead of my headphone while they are plugged in. Definitely do not recommend this cheap and defective product.

Didn’t even try the power side yet, the audio port does not work. I plugged and unplugged several times, tried a different headset, just doesn’t work. Disappointing. I’ll probably ask Amazon to replace it and try again. We will see.

The connector worked pretty well for about 2 weeks then I started noticing that it would short and crackle when my headphone new we're in. The charging port in would be delayed in registering that a charger was plugged in. Overall, you get what you paid for... Not much.

It doesn’t work. The cable won’t allow enough juice to charge my phone. Waste.

The design caused it break too easily. It broke on me, leaving the jack part in my phone. Had to use a tweezer to get it out. Functional but design not.

Serves its purpose but won’t hold the lightening charger. It slips in and out frequently. Also gives lots of feedback when both auxiliary cord and charger are plugged in. With standard headphones/headset you can’t use as phone headset (you can’t hear caller and they can’t hear you
