He's almost 4, so creating and imagination are his skillset right now and the cube sets and also the wheel set are really keeping him entertained for quite a while. I would highly recommend, and they are small that little hands can easily manipulate them. The magnets are strong and will hold a shape, no matter how crazy he makes it. Very fun.

By the time your kid gets to the 4 year old mark, you find yourself gravitating to a few sets of things that they really enjoy, and decluttering the rest of the random bits of toys you've gotten over the years as gifts. For my 4 year old, who loves construction shows, Tegu blocks, Magna-Tiles, and Magna-Qubix are the bees' knees. They all serve slightly different construction purposes, but they're easy to request as gifts from people or reward your child with a little something for a great job on something. Just means you're adding a little to the set, so your kid can build bigger and more elaborate things.This is a great starter set or add-on set, and you'll be amazed by the little things your child can make with these little widgets. They're extremely manipulatable in their hands, they stick together great so they're easy to build with (or sweep off the floor in your arms when it's clean up time), and other than stepping on tiny plastic triangles in your bare feet you're unlikely to have any complaints. A toy my son turns to again and again, and being smaller these are very transportable for car trips or vacations. A must have toy for any child!

I bought these as a birthday present for my friend's daughter who just turned 3. She LOVES them. Yes, they are smaller than I anticipated, but she loves playing with these. Definitely keeps her busy and entertained. I would recommend! If you want something more substantial I would recommend getting 2 sets so that the child can build larger items with more pieces.

The media could not be loaded. These are tiny and great for travel. Each piece is about half an inch. I’ve gotten many for gifts. It had entertained my 3 year old and his 6 and 10 year old cousins for hours!! I couldn’t girly even it! Definitely like these more than magnatiles because I feel you can build more things with it that can stand since there’s a bigger base. I’ve also gotten the 85 piece set so he can build more with it. Also, can stick to the fridge for more fun!

Good quality, fun to play, but it’s a bit of noisy. The magnetic beads are loosely trapped in compartments, it makes annoying noises when pieces connect. It can be disturbing if playing in quiet public places.

These Magna Cubix are excellent toys to help with fine motor skills in young children. They are colorful and durable. My 4-year old grandchildren love them!

Our 3 year old loves these! Her older siblings are jealous now. It’s a great creative toy with numerous build options. They’re also easy to assemble for the little one’s size and abilities.

I ordered this set specifically to help keep my 2 year old occupied on a 12 hour flight. It's easier to use than the magna-tiles for little hands. I like that it's a small enough set to keep in my carry-on, and of course the kiddos love it. Even the older kids had fun with these, I'll definitely be keeping them around for flights and road trips!
