With osteoarthritis, standing on hard surfaces is extra painful, so my time in the kitchen has continued to drop. I have tried six or seven types of mats, kitchen and regular rugs, and rugs with thick pads. This one is by far the best option I know of, they lay flat right out of the box, and the beveled edges lay flat too so no tripping over them into the hot stove like some might do to you, plus they give just the right amount of cushiony support to ease pain-and they're good quality so no sinking down like with other mats. The leather-like surface feels great on bare feet, I got the navy which matches perfectly, after getting the cranberry first which is also a pretty color (just didn't match my decor, but I actually considered changing it so these would match, they're that nice). With these wonderful things under me, I can stand far more comfortably and now long enough to prep, cook and wash dishes without needing breaks in between. I got two 20 x 60" mats, the width is perfect, just wish they were longer. May buy more and place end to end under all counters, when I step off them the hard floor is pretty jolting so I either go right back to the mat or pull it under me every time. They do not attract dog hair, are easy to clean, things don't break if they fall on them, and they are waterproof, great for protecting beautiful wood floors from possible damage. Added benefit is better health when you can stand long enough to make a decent meal. Fast delivery too, faster than expected. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE MATS!!! Purchased this for my kitchen, and shortly after unboxing i purchased another one. It's very supportive, true to color, a perfect size, and easy to spot clean. Glad I didn't buy a cheaper version I found in a mega store. This one is much thicker and has better cushioning.

I bought one mat for in front of the sink 5 years ago to try it out, and loved it! It saves my feet from standing at length on the unforgiving ceramic kitchen tile I have. It's thick and cushy and easy to clean. I then bought another one last month for in front of the stove. Now I burn less food when I cook!

This mat is very comfortable to stand on when working at the kitchen counter. It looks great in the kitchen, but does slip a bit on the tile floor. I think it's a bit too expensive, but I'm happy with how well it works to keep me comfortable when standing for long periods of time.

I purchased a few NewLife by GelPro floor mats and am extremely pleased with them. These are high quality mats and super comfortable. I placed one at my work-from-home stand-up desk and another in front of the kitchen sink where we spend a lot of time doing dishes and cooking. For these purposes, I would highly recommend them. I purchased one for my mother as well and had it shipped to her. She absolutely loves it.These are great anti-fatigue mats but not for every circumstance. These mats are tall so they AREN'T suitable for high-traffic areas and/or around doors. These mats have a lot of cushion which adds to the height so it can cause a bit of a tripping hazard or cause clearance issues with doors that need to open/close. You'll notice a few negative reviews here and those are probably legitimate complaints caused by using these mats for those purposes.I had to return one mat because a door wouldn't fully open due to the floor mat height (I didn't even consider measuring the clearance between the door and ground before ordering). It was a painless return process. I've recommended this product to a few family members. Highly recommend this product and this company.

Perfect size for my kitchen counter area and the thickness of the mats is what I’ve searched for. These mats are worth the money!

Prior to buying these mats we had another brand. I like these more because the padding is softer and feels nicer than standing on a hard floor.There was another review that stated they were "oily" on the bottom. They were but we wiped them down and it hasn't been an issue.I also like the subtle pattern printed on them.

Things you need to know before buying:1. The mat covering doesn't have a "polished" look; in essence, it looks like the top part was printed out by an average printer and glued to the bottom section.2. The pattern on the mat is difficult to discern from the pictures. Think scales -- like scales on a lizard -- and you'll get the idea. (I have the green version.)3. The material on the bottom is smooth (not sticky or rough). This will cause the mat to slide every once in a while when you step on it. Just re-adjust its position and carry on.4. As mentioned in another post, this IS NOT a gel mat. Some friends of ours have a gel mat, and those contour exactly to your feet (think gels that go inside your shoes). THIS mat just provides a soft area to stand on so that your hardwood/tile floors don't cause your back to ache.5. The cushion in this mat does its job: you'll definitely notice a majority of your aches and pains going away as you wash dishes/cook dinner (what I use it for).6. The mat seems to be of solid construction. I've had this mat for about 2 months now, and there appears to be no signs of wear and tear whatsoever.All in all, it's a decent product. The fact that it looks "scaly" and the print job seems average at best (see points #1 and #2) will make me replace this product some time in the future -- purely due to decorative value. For now, however, it does a good "functional" job of alleviating back aches, so I'll use it for a while until we re-do our kitchen.'Hope you found this helpful!

👍👍Two Thumbs up! its been years now since we bought it! Easy to clean and the color never fades. We use this in the kitchen when we cook, because standing up a lot in there. The support for the feet and calf is better! That's why we bought another one (smaller) after a year for the sink side.
