Virgin Mobile LGSP320AVB LG X Charge - Prepaid Carrier Locked - 5.5Inch Screen - 16GB - Titan Black (U.S. Warranty)

My mother's phone is on its last leg, so I did a bit of digging after realizing the phone I originally wanted to get her (the stylo 3) had gone up in price by about a hundred dollars since I bought mine, and decided to go with this one. It showed up two days later in good condition, but when she turned it on, it was pre-loaded and locked for Boost Mobile instead of Virgin Mobile. The numbers on the box matched the phone and the box was still factory sealed when we recieved it, so we just assumed it was just a one time mix up and ordered a replacement. Uh nope, it happened twice. We did a bit more digging and saw that this has happened to a lot of people from a lot of different vendors, including big name brick and mortar stores. Usually I give three chances, amazon does pretty well returns wise, but between the price and it being a known issue, I'm going to have to take a hard pass on this one and just buy a different phone.

Phone started out working quite well and was very pleased, but after a few short months have had the following problems: Will power off in the middle of making a post. Swipe to open the phone stops working and has to be restarted (sometimes more than once) 2-3 times a day. Display lighting will switch itself to dim when charging or just sitting. Sometimes will charge within 10-15 minutes - other ties will actually lose power while charging even though connections are firm. Much more trouble than it is worth

Excellent Battery life! I purchased this phone as a replacement for my LG Stylo 2. At the time Amazon was out of the Stylo 3. This phone was an almost match spec for spec with the LG Stylo 3 with the exception of 0.2 in smaller screen & no stylus functionality. I figured I would use this as a temp phone until I could order the LG Stylo 3, but now after using this phone for a week plus, I think I'll stick with it. :-) The battery life is far superior to my LG Stylo 2. A huge plus! Newer OS, Octo-core (8 Core) Processor that just shreds any hard & intensive tasks! Better clarity on this screen too - Awesome! It's a keeper! Love the phone so far. I definitely recommend this phone. Great find!

Please be aware this is not for virgin mobile like it says it says it runs through boost mobile but when we tried to activate through either service we couldnt its defective or stolen

Ordered a Virgin Mobile phone and received a Boost Mobile phone in a Virgin Mobile box. And the Boost Mobile phone was defective and could not be activated so now I have to go through the ordeal of a return process. Apparently I am not the only person this has happened to. Do not order this phone.

Wish it had a notification light. I'm constantly checking my phone for notifications.The accelerometer and compass are pretty useless. Can't use any of those VR headsets or augmented reality apps.

Not Virgin Mobile as advertised. It is locked to Boost Mobile and cannot be activated on Virgin Mobile or any other carrier due to previous owner owing on contract.
