Gorgeous photos and inspiring projects. I love seeing the variety of yarn used, the modern designs, and the wide range of projects. For anyone getting excited about punch needle, this is a must-have book.

I just discovered punch needle embroidery and this is the book to start with and your guide. The author knows her craft and doesn't make anything overcomplicated- just as simple as it should be. The aesthetic in this book is beautiful. I recommend pairing this with her courses on Creativebug.

I have followed bookhou on insta for a while now after I participated in the monthly Crafter’s Box with Arounna. I was so excited for this book to come out! I do like some of the projects which is rare in these kinds of art books. I do appreciate that the author included where she got the yarn she used in these projects. My only LARGE gripe is that the yarn listed is HARD TO FIND AND OFTEN NOT THE ACCURATE COLOR OR COLOR NAME. I’ve also noticed that even though she lists the yarn used, she doesn’t include what goes where in the actual project directions. I am a visual learner and like to have clear directions. I’m not the type of person that can take a pattern and change the colors right away. It’s only after I practice I can switch stuff up. Not having all the info in the book is paralyzing. Also this isn’t the book for you if you are only looking to learn how to punch. It isn’t detailed enough. You can’t explain to a newbie how to punch with only a couple of pictures and a few sentences underneath. I have been punching for over a year, so it wasn’t a problem for me. It IS a good book if you like the patterns/projects that are shown in the book.

This is such a great book, well written instructions, easy to follow and beautiful projects! I’ve already made a pillow, can’t wait to make more!

I follow this person on social media and so was eagerly awaiting this book’s release. It does not disappoint! Beautifully illustrated with easy to follow instructions it would be an excellent book for someone new to this craft or someone who wants modern inspiration. It is a good solid addition to your library!

Love her teaching style and work. A well written book on the instruction of Punch Needle from materials to technique. Quite a variety of projects to make from small to large. I learned so much from this book and can't recommend it enough. If you are new to Punch Needle, you will want to add this to your library to refer to over and over again.
