Tarot De Maria Celia In A Tin

The artwork in this deck strikes a really nice balance between traditional and modern, as it (literally) says on the tin. The color palette and art style are modern, but the designs are very accurate to a traditional TDM, unlike some "cute marseille" decks that have come out in the last few years. The directionality of the figures is correct. The placements of the suit symbols (swords, cups, etc) in the minors are correct, as are the arabesques (floral designs). Often artists with a "less than thorough" understanding of how people actually *read* TDM take liberties with these designs that disrupt the numerology and are jarring to seasoned marseille readers, as well as making it more difficult for beginning readers to learn the system. These arrangements support the meanings in the minors and make them easier to remember and interpret when you're learning. People who aren't familiar with TDM make the mistake of thinking they are just decorations. They're not. They matter a lot. Lynyrd-Jym Narciso did not make that mistake. His rendition is original and beautiful while still retaining everything of importance, right down to the hand gestures/placements in the court cards. This deck is cute as hell AND reads perfectly. I'm very impressed with it.The art is beautiful. The symbolism, directionality, and numerology are intact. The read is accurate. The size is perfect for travel. The cardstock is nice — there are very few decks this small that can be riffle shuffled, but this is one of them. I can't say enough good things about it. I wish there were more perfect little marseille decks like this. Great for TDM readers of any experience level. 10/10

While I appreciate the traditional aesthetic of Tarot de Marseille, I have to say that this deck appeals to me much more. With the timeless woodcut-style of the illustrations and the more modern, rich colors, I find this deck truly beautiful and a joy to use. Since the cards are protected by the tin, they go just about everywhere with me. The cards are a great size (although I would be thrilled to see the artwork on larger card stock as well) and a decent weight, and they shuffle nicely. I can’t praise them highly enough.

I’m in love with this deck! The artwork is beautiful and I love the card backs. I’m a big fan of bridge size cards for everyday use and travel, and these fit the bill. The card stock is great for riffle shuffling and it’s nice that they come in a tin so I can easily toss them in my bag. I’ve been searching for my perfect everyday Marseille deck, and this one is it!

They are beautiful and very chatty but are small, so don’t expect the large size nor a normal. I still recommend but I will not be using them for readings for customers because of the size. I wish they can be larger.

So I got these cards cause I loved the images and use of color in these cards. I totally love the size of these. Not as thrilled about the book. And it can be hard trying to figure out when some of the cards are either swords or wands

Attractive take on the traditional Tarot of Marsielle using refreshed images and modern illustrations with a vintage look. The images are slightly simplified compared to more traditional decks such as the CBD and Camoin reproductions and, therefore, many of the secondary layers of meaning are missing. No bird in the tree on the Star card, no nude woman's torso on the Magician card, etc. So, if you subscribe to Jodororsky's method of reading, then this deck might not work for you. Personally, I like the simplified and clarified imagery.

Literally the only Marseille deck I could find that appealed to me. Also, I absolutely love the size, and the fact that it comes in a tin. My only complaint is that I'm not a fan of the backs, but that is personal taste, and I'm really more interested in the card faces anyway. Tin arrived in decent condition. Minor dents only.

Compré este mazo pensando sería perfecto para traerlo siempre conmigo en mi bolsa, por su pequeño tamaño y la cajita metálica. Pero resultó más solo que eso: hermoso trabajo artístico, bella elección de colores, un estilo único vintage/moderno. Buena calidad. Me identifiqué con algunos detalles que el artista decidió incorporar, como el cielo estrellado en El Ermitaño o la planta naciendo de una de las copas en el V de Copas. Recomendado 100%.

Je n'aime pas, mais alors pas du tout, le tarot de Marseille et je ne m'attendais pas à ce qu'il en soit un. Mais qu'est-ce que je l'aime ! Les illustrations ont qqchose de différent et de très parlant, on se laisse facilement guider, c'est très agréable.Il est très puissant et s'est tout de suite connecté à mon énergie, alors que pour certains jeux il faut un peu de temps... juste magique, je le recommande ♡♡♡

I am in love with this TdM style mini- deck... The size is perfect for my tiny hands & especially for huge tableau readings. However, I did find the card stock slightly thin (compared to other US Games decks). Lynard Narciso has done a great job with the artwork, I love the colour blend in it...it's just so soothing to the eye.I highly recommend this one for TdM beginners .

Estoy muy contento con la compra de este tarot, especialmente, después de la mala experiencia con el "Le Noir Tarot".Es mi primer tarot en una lata, son más pequeños de lo normal (9x5,7cm). En la foto he puesto una carta del tarot estándar Rider-Waite.Me gusta mucho el estilo y aunque tiene bordes, no son simples bordes blancos sino que tienen como una textura, como si fueran más antiguas las cartas.La lata tiene las 78 cartas + dos cartas (título y breve explicación del autor y la editorial) y lleva un librito blanco con las instrucciones. La información que lleva no está mal para este tipo de libritos, pero ojo, es sólo en inglés!Las carta son son más bien finas, hay gente que no le gusta esto, pero no parecen de mala calidad y se pueden barajar muy bien.Y el producto ha venido perfecto, ninguna marca y están todas las cartas. Algo que debería ser normal, pero no siempre es así.
