Cracking the Coding Interview: 150 Programming InterviewQuestions and Solutions

Awesome book, my recommendation
Was it ever your dream to be in one of the top-notch companies India (the likes of Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe etc) & you thought the interview rounds were too hard. Well, the rounds are hard (believe me) only because facing those questions on the spot makes your brain go drifting somewhere else (happened to me..).But if you already had a taste of whats going to come, you are prepared, you are confident & you will give it your best shot. With a systematic approach even tough goals can be achieved, this book will help you in that systematic approach(from A to Z). Before this book I used to collect all the questions & categorize them in different sections from easy to hard - phew!! it was a painful job - If that work has already been done by someone(very decently), why not use it & build it on top of that!My highest recommendations!!

A planned approach towards interview preparation
This book is not a mere collection of problems. Its a strategy guide. Interviews cannot be cleared just by reading all the available problems. Its about proper thought process which one has to apply to approach different problems. Gayle McDowell has brilliantly used her experience as interviewer in google to come up with this masterpiece.I am not saying that this book is your ultimate tool to clear anything. But its a very nice guide for clarifying the process one should take.

Worth every penny
This is the Bible if you are preparing for coding interviews, whenever anyone is looking for study materials to prepare for interviews, I always suggest this book. It not only has good collection of problems but also the theory behind them with good explanation for why something is done that way. Always try to solve the problems yourself before trying to attempt peeking at the solution

This book is well structured and good. This will not teach us what we have learnt rather it will guide us how we should approach algorithms and problems. if you want to get placed in the big companies like Microsoft, google, facebook you should buy this.

Awesome Book!!
This book is a booster to your confidence while you attend interviews at big shots! (Amazon, Ebay, etc). It lacks the theory behind data structure, so do not expect those things, instead go for other data structure books which explains the theory. This book will present you questions which is going to be the standard in top notches.

Crack the toughest of coding interviews of Google or Amazon
A definite guide for people who are planning to join the Giants of IT industry.(Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, Yahoo,...). If you are planning to see if you have what it takes to get into one of these companies mentioned above, then definitely you will find this book very useful.

Helpful for big tech cos
Most big tech cos (at least here in London - e.g. Google, Facebook etc) require whiteboard coding and problem solving, and this is a very easy to read guide to help you prepare for what to expect. Easy to both flick through, or just pick up and glance over - as well as work through systematically.A lot of this can be found online, and lots of places let you practice with real example questions - but still nice to have (either to read on the train, or just to flick through) - I generally found it helpful for my prep for Google interviews, and generally found the content and style re-assuring given the number of horror stories about these big tech interviews.

A must read
The book is very well written and exposes all the basic key points of a good technical interview preparation process. Moreover, the book is stuffed with common interview problems that are to be fully understood by candidates as similar problems might be presented in their next interview. If you're preparing for an interview, this book will help you understand what knowledge you're lacking and how to train for whiteboard problem solving exercise that are fairly common in technical interview, especially with big companies such as Google, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, etc.
