Became my kids' favorite vehicles instantly when they arrived. A little larger than I expected, which is nice! Have so far survived 3 and 1 year old brothers bashing them and doing everything else little kids do to their toys. Have been reliably informed that these toys work very well for Duplo construction sites. :-D

This is a great toy. It would get five stars if the working mechanism on the forklift worked better. It is soooooo slow, you twist this tiny little wheel, and my little boy just ends up lifting the fork and holding it up while he drives it. That being said, he still plays with it a lot and loves the drop side truck.

My toddler loves this set! Takes it everywhere with him, even the tub. Durable, makes a racing, zoom zoom sound when you push it!

My 3 year old grandson plays with this often and for long periods of time. It’s his favorite toy! I’m worried that the cardboard “crates” won’t hold up over time, but some lightweight blocks might have to eventually be substituted. Or I might have to construct some origami-type boxes. My only other suggestion would be for the turn knob (to raise and lower the platform) was on both sides. He gets a little frustrated when the turn turn knob is on the “wrong side” and he has to turn things around or he has to move himself to be able to turn the knob. But he figures out how to make it work and keeps playing. It just slows him down a bit. But as he gets older he’ll figure out how to reach over the top.

I thought it will be small but the size of it is really good. Items functional well my kid like it

My 4 yr old grandson really enjoyed this! He is able to easily transfer the boxes from the fork lift to the truck. The sides of the truck are a bit hard to lower but once we realized the amount of firm pressure required, he is able to do that too!

I'm an adult collector of mechanical toy vehicles, and was well aware of the lower status of this set as far as a true "model" goes-- but I'm (fairly) undemanding when actual quality is present-- and this set actually has a decent amount-- the truck is even based on a real model-- though obviously not marked or officially licenced.Unfortunately, either the manufacturer or some distributer along this thing's lifespan decided to switch out the actually nice crates (I found the idea of them a charming way to include value while saving money) with ones featuring preschoolish and bizarre cartoon animal graphics. It DOES come with one more than shown in the picture-- but at a cost. They had to flatten the design of them to fit the bed. I wouldn't have AS much of a problem with this-- had they kept the original, fairly realistic graphics-- but it just looks all the worse for it now.The truck is very tastlessly slapped all over with stickers-- unlike the picture. They're technically removable, and I had already planned to remove the ones the picture shows on the doors anyway-- but those nice looking D.O.T. reflector patterns on the sides of the bed are COMPLETELY REPLACED with more cartoon candypuke baby zoo animal graphics. Also, printed on all the stickers is the bizarre and mis-spelled phrase "FLATBED RTAILER" One assumes they mean "TRAILER"-- except technically, there IS no actual trailer in the set-- which I'm not complaining about, the model this is based on is not a trailer rig at all-- but these stickers are just ugly, stupid looking, bizarrely childish even for what's SUPPOSED to be a toy-- AND NONE OF THEM AT ALL RESEMBLE THE PICTURE!! I even saw two different Youtube reviews-- BOTH OF THOSE SETS MATCH THE PICTURES HERE PERFECTLY!!! The truck itself is right and the functions work properly-- THE STICKERS AND PAPER CARGO CRATES ARE A COMPLETE BAIT AND SWITCH!!!The forklift and palette pieces I have no actual complaints with-- they resemble the pictures and reviews, the little mechanisms and functions are all here and they all seem to work okay-- but over half of this set that I planned to display as part of an adult collection is COMPLETELY USELESS!!! It really is too bad they ruined the cosmetics of this set like this-- because the functionalities are all great ideas, and it's simplicity is charming-- even with the weird shifts they made to this, it still WANTS to be that decent little set in the picture-- but it's display value is just completely DOA!!
