I've avoided buying a hook for our heavy, aluminum balcony door for ages, as they are either too ornamental, too short, or not up to the job. This hook system is first class engineering, using excellent materials, and sold at a great price.

Used this hook/eye set for wooden fence gate and did the job. Because the gates have gone out of alignment, the hook/latch system that came with the gate wasn't working well and was very hard to work the latch. Removed the old and installed this set and did the trick. It securely holds the two gates together even though they are out of alignment. Super heavy duty. Made well.

Had a small issue but the seller resolved it promptly! Used to secure the top and bottom barn doors to keep them open and the eyelet where the latch drops into broke within a day or two after I installed them. Literally broke completely off without doing anything to it except installing it! I ordered 6 latches and had issue with only 1 so hoping it is isolated to just that one.

These are a nice quality hook/latch. I used them to be able to latch open some heavy lids to some outdoor storage benches, and they look and work great.

Installed this on dooe that was recently broken into. No chance of that happening now with this rugged product! Buy today, well made and very sturdy. Rugged!

Bought 2 of these for my barn gate. The first one lasted about 3 weeks before the hook broke off of its base. Could have been a heavy gust of wind but the hook does not support the gate weight. Replaced broken piece with part from second item. So far, so good.
