We ordered this for our son when he was 2 months old because we needed a night light. It has been a lifesaver! It has multiple color settings including gradient settings and the option to have just color or color with a white backlight. You can leave the plastic top on for a soft effect (as seen in my pic) or remove it to cast the stars and moons onto the walls and ceiling using either the stationary or rotating settings (however, if you use it without the plastic top and have it on rotate, it has caused headaches for both my husband and I). It has 3 buttons to control everything so it's incredibly easy to use. Our son loves to look at it and it allows perfect light to take care of him in the midnight hours without using a harsh light source.

We ordered this for our son while re-doing his room. He doesn't always use it, but loves it when it's on. It surprisingly bright and distinct for a cheap rotating night light. Would recommend 👌

I bought two of these, both intended to be gifts. My little sister loved hers, so I decided to keep the other one for myself since I’ve always wanted a projector like this. Now I have firsthand experience with this product and I feel inclined to share:First, I will say that the lights are beautiful and the product is exactly as described. See attached photo. There are three buttons, the first two are for customizing the color scheme of lights and the third is for rotation. Looks vibrant and pretty on walls when it’s dark.I only took a star off because (this next part may just be subjective but...) this star light projector actually inflicts nightmares / some very strange dreams. I wanted to be 100% sure of this before making a review, so I tested it every night and even during a couple naps over a two week timeframe. After the first week I had a one night break where I did not use it and yesterday night was the first night after finishing my second week of using the projector. EVERY time I sleep in darkness with this projector on, I have some very strange dreams. One nightmare I had someone was in my house trying to kill me, another dream I was alone in the forrest making pancakes and mashed potatoes in a shack for a weird stranger, and I just woke up from a nap (PROJECTOR ON) where I had weird long anime hair that went down to my knees and I was trying to take a Christmas photo of me outside like that with snow piling on top of my head. I could not make this stuff up, I dreamt these weird things every single time this projector is on. The two times I DIDN’T sleep with the projector and used my normal warm wall lights to sleep, my dreams returned to normal and I slept sweet and soundly.TLDR -pros: great product and just as describedcons: gives terrible nightmares and very strange dreams

My kids love this! I bought this to replace a cheap gift store one my daughter had bought on a vacation. And I'm so happy with it I'm going to purchase another for my son! It does multiple colors of stars or one color, and you can make it rotate. There is a cap to dim the brightness but we love the stars so the cap stays off. It does drain batteries but we plugged it into the wall with an AC adapter and that works very well. I never tried to charge it with the USB. Perfect gift as it will definitely get used!

My son loves this night light and the fact that it illuminates stars!However, after about 4 months of use, the red light went out on it. I contacted the company and they were very friendly and sent me a new one, free of charge. The next one worked great for about 2 months until the same thing happened—the red light went out.I didn’t contact the company again, which I know I should/could have because they were friendly and helpful, but I also think that the product should last longer than a few months before something goes wrong with it.A+ for customer service but the product itself would be more of a C+ or B-

The media could not be loaded.  I got this for my daughter, she loved it, i noticed tgat she sleep good since i got it for her. She so stressed when she got home from school and i want her to relaxed, she will turn this on and listen to music .the light looks so relaxing specially when its moving. It has a calming effect. I like the option that i can plug it make it work, i can use 4, A's battery and it can be plug to using usb line to my laptop. The instruction is easy to understand, setting up is so easy and it works great. I cant think of anything i dont like about it. Its a great product .

It’s a cute concept to have rotating stars but the quality is very poor! The dome on top is flimsy plastic and easily crushed by a child - it is not durable. The buttons to turn on and off are super loud so they can wake up your kid when you go in to turn off - if you can even figure out which button you’re supposed to push. I have to push them randomly until one works. It’s weird. The battery drains quickly, so you can use the black dc cable - if they even include it in the box. I bought two and only one had the power cable. But that’s ok because the plug is in the front of the light not in the back. So it is unsightly. The whole thing is poorly designed. The label says “Made in Chian” instead of “Made in China”. That right there should tell you everything you need to know about whether to spend your money on it.

I have bought this for 2 of my friends who had babies in the past year and they love it! They are fascinated by the lights, colors and shapes. Also makes a good night light.
