The Indian Chai - Vanilla Rooibos Tea 50 grams with Vanilla Beans for Sleep, Stress, Immunity and Weight Loss

Having tried plain rooibos tea (and having been enormously impressed with it) I decided to combine 2 of my loves- that of rooibos & vanilla- and the result has been nothing short of a dream! This is my current favourite and I suspect it will remain a favourite for a long time! The tea is simply outstanding. No other way to describe it. It has all the qualities necessary to make tea drinking an enjoyable and a surreal experience.Now my reasons for trying rooibos (also called red tea) were simple. I wanted to try a new tea and more importantly I wanted a change from green tea which I consume mainly for its health benefits. When I read that red tea has ALL the benefits of green tea without its characteristic bitterness, my curiosity was piqued and I went ahead & ordered it (from the same seller) & it was excellent. Rooibos tea has a nice red hue and a very earthy taste. Now add Vanilla to this and you’ve hit jackpot! The vanilla deeply complements the rooibos and together they make a scrumptious mix. What I liked best is the vanilla doesn’t overpower the rooibos, it only enhances the blend gently by lending a warm & sweet note to it.I steeped it for 4-5mins and the result was just as I had imagined. Second steep gave rich results too and this time I kept it for about 7 mins. Third steep was understandably light so I wouldn’t recommend it but one can always try. I had it hot and despite it being a hot day, I enjoyed it immensely. Someday I intend to have it chilled as well. I suspect that would taste just as great.This is the perfect ‘pick me up’ tea. After a hard day’s work, when you want to sit back & unwind, THIS is the tea you want to reach for. Having a cuppa immediately puts me in a good mood! It is easy on the senses & carries truckloads of health benefits. I would go as far as saying there’s something very soulful about this tea.Something’s gotta be said about the beautiful air tight tin box it came in. The design on the tin box is classy and has a vintage feel to it. This packaging automatically makes it a highly suitable gift and the tea is bound to impress the recipient. Not to forget the immense nutritional benefits which will be a big bonus, a cherry on the cake.The price is on the higher side, undoubtedly, but so is the overall quality. The rooibos tea along with vanilla beans in an elegant tin box definitely warrants this price.And the seller sent across a generous free sample of Kashmiri Kahwa chai along with this order! Talk about icing on the cake!!

The best thing about this tea is the sweet and mild taste along with the strong aroma of vanilla. It has this earthy feel to it which is never experienced in any other red tea. Plus's rich in antioxidants! Ever better for health!

Bought this tea only because I wanted to experience a hot vanilla beverage. Right from opening the packaging, I did not get any scent at all. Experimented multiple times over weeks with different dilution and water temperature, still 0 vanilla flavour. Another issue I faced was that the tea texture is very fine so my green tea infusion setup can't filter it properly, leading to a messy brew. Recommend to use filter papers.I would have given 1 star but packaging was very nice and I seem to be growing into the woody flavour of roobibos. A blend with vanilla would really have been unique.

The flavor and aroma are par excellent! Aroma spreads my entire house when the 🍵 is brewed.

Great taste

The quality of tea and blending of vanilla essence is very good. Comes with a resealable jar in which tea can be stored. Very satisfied!

If you are thinking to buy this product think again.. there is no vanilla taste not even essence or fragrance. The tea taste is horrible like the old normal leaves would do. Nothing specific good to buy just a big hole in the pocket. Total waste of money.

It was a very different tea for me it was red in colour with strong vanilla flavour.It is also known as Red Tea and is rich in antioxidants and known for calming affects.
