Good cava
[EDIT: After I had written the review below, I discovered that the corks are perfectly fine. I am old and my hands have become weaker! I have now bought (from Amazon) a "BarCraft BCCHAMOP Champagne/Sparkling Wine Opener" - which works well.]I have opened many, many bottles of Cava here at home. I have large strong hands. But the first bottle (of six) was impossible for me to open just using my hands. I needed to use a pipe wrench to grip the cork. I have just opened the second bottle - once again the pipe wrench was required. I understand that, for fizzy wine, a tight cork is required. But these corks are ridiculous. The wine itself tastes perfectly fine.

Excellent Cava by Campo Viejo
Top brand Cava, at a very attractive price. My usual Cava is Codorniu 1872 Vintage Brut. Both wines are at a similar price point - and equally enjoyable. For when you want to celebrate, but not break the bank (with Champers)!Cheers!

Good value fizz.
A good spanish fizz from a well known wine house in the Rioja region. In my opinion far superior to prosecco which is made in a different way.Whether it is how the ferment this (in the bottle) rather than the big stainless steel tanks used in prosecco making, this has a nicer mouth feel, more warming toastiness from the yeast and a less severe headache the next day (always a bonus) than any of the proseccos I've tried in this price range.

Fizzy Friday ?
Just what was needed! Dry, plenty of fizz, fresh taste, great price (compared to other similar wines). In my opinion a great choice for those occasions that you need an enjoyable bottle of bubbles without worrying about the cost. Goes well with most goods and equally nice by itself. Cheers.

Christmas Dinner Drinks
Lovely with Turkey and sprouts. Helps to swallow down the sprouts whole without tasting them. Big gulps :)
