Cute images/pages. Some awkwardness. Not much room for pictures.
My wife's review:Since this is my second pregnancy I thought would try a different pregnancy journal just to mix things up. It has some good features but I will not likely use this journal. I bought the book used and it was a bit banged up on the outside which was to be expected but the first several pages on the inside also don't turn well over the spiral binding. The journal is geared more for the mother to keep and not necessarily for passing on to the child in my opinion. There's a couple sections that I found to be pretty awkward. One of the first pages is titled "Grind and then...BUMP!" where you describe where and when you conceived. "The situation was: 1.Romantic and sexy. 2.Clinical and to the point. 3.Wild and spontaneous." The next page is called "BUMP in the Road" where you can detail your experience if you had go In Vitro or AI or Other, which I actually felt was thoughtful. You could tear either or both of those pages out if you wanted to.The other page I found awkward was titled "Breast news ever?" where you're supposed to say how much they grew and then it asks, "How are you feeling about your expanding bustline?" The options are: 1.Thrilled! For once, I get to feel like a porn star. 2. Less than excited. My boobs are sore and unwieldy. 3. Doesn't make a difference to me either way, but my husband is over the moon about it." Then at the end of the book is a page titled "Milk 'Em for all they're worth" and asks, "How do you feel about your extra-inflated assets? Talk about some wanted or unwanted attention you've gotten with them." If it's just for me it's no big deal but I don't think my son would want to read about that when he's grown. Nor would I want to show it to my father-in-law. Again, you could tear them out except that on the back of one is the page about hearing the heart beat for the first time which is definitely something I would want to record and keep. The back of the other is part of a two page spread. The rest is pretty light hearted and appropriate for anyone to see.One the positive side, the colors and images throughout are bright, creative, and fun. Gender neutral. The pages are pretty decent quality. One nice feature is that there is a small section in the back for the few days/weeks after baby is born which is often not in other pregnancy journals. There's also a small pocket in the back to put momentos in.The biggest reason I'm not going to use it is that there is hardly any room for pictures. There's a couple designated spots for ultrasound pics, one for mom in a maternity outfit, one for pics of mom/partner, one for just before due date, and one from the delivery. That's pretty much it. You could put pictures on the pages dedicated for journaling if you wanted to, but that does take up your spots for free journaling.I had The Belly Book for my first pregnancy and I would recommend that one over this journal if you're into pictures! If pictures aren't a big deal to you then you might really like this one..

Perfect journal for first-time pregnancies
This is my first pregnancy so I wanted something that would let me document it, but I'm not much of a creative writer so I didn't want just a blank journal. This book is amazing. It's got a combination of fill-in-the blanks as well as blank journal pages throughout for if you do feel like writing. It's got sections to glue pictures in without feeling like you have to be overly crafty and into scrap booking. It also has a cute little pocket in the back for ultrasound pictures, hospital bracelets, and any other mementos you might want to keep. I'm happy with this purchase and would recommend it to other first-time moms.

Cute book but no weekly dividers or pregnancy tips
This is a book for people who are more casual about a pregnancy journal and don't enjoy helpful developmental information to read along with space to journal. It has glow or gag and "crankometer" options on the unlabeled journal pages. There are no week to week cues so it may be good for those who don't like to feel pressured by clearly delineated daily or weekly entries. It is divided by trimester only and has "fun" pages imbedded in each trimester such as how you got pregnant, build a baby, daddy page, pregnancy dreams and cravings, names for baby, breast size page, pregnancy style, sweet and rude stuff your husband does, baby shower (only ONE), and delivery planning pages (no tips included). There are also a few pages to put pictures but not many. I intend to return this book because I do enjoy medical information along with labeled short weekly journal sections and this book does not provide that.

Great book
Just as it stated it would be. It only had writing on one page and it will be east to remove. The ad says this so I’m not surprised. Thanks very much for the book.

Hello, I'm Pregnant
I like this book because it helps you record things you may not think of, or may slip your mind. You can go whatever order you wish to. There is plenty of pages to write notes on or record memories about the pregnancy, I am on my first trimester so I have not had much to record yet. I still do like the feel and ease of using it; and I am sure to have lots more to record on my second and third trimester. I think it makes a nice keepsake; specially for first pregnancies.

Cute and Easy
I wanted a journal to keep pictures and short stats during my first pregnancy, but I didn't want something huge or that would be left mostly unwritten/empty. This has some short, fun questionnaire's (check box, fill in the blank type of things), and a few places to put in pictures of important things (ultrasound, belly, etc). It also has pages to rank how you're feeling physically and emotionally during each trimester, and you can write a short paragraph underneath. I've spent a total of maybe 1 hour in this so far (I'm 27 weeks pregnant) and feel like I've tracked everything I wanted to remember for my next pregnancy.

Great Product
I really love this book! I used it as my guest book for my shower too! The only thing that I would suggest improvement on would be more pockets for the trimesters. I have weekly ultrasounds and it would be nice to have some extra space to put all of the pictures in.

Love this!
This was so cute and I loved writing down the memories of my pregnancy. There is a page that lets you and your spouse guess the baby's due date, weight, eye color, ect. My husband and I did that about 2 months before our sons arrival and had so much fun looking back at it. I also enjoyed the fact that it gave you sentences to finish and blanks to fill in so you could recognize what memories are important!

Need some improvement but good purchase!
It has a lot of good content and allows to capture some good memories however; some pages are not useful due to the options already layed out on the page. For example; it only has pages about how i felt and only gives two emotions about hormones and tantrums. Not everyone has that sort of pregnancy! I think they should have more blank pages for other details about General feelings rather than addressing it as emotions or anger.

a bit weird nice looking book got some useful things in it but some of it I wont be filling out I really don't want my son knowing the situation of how he was conceived but it was the only boy coloured journal that I could find and at a good price.
