RosewoodRosewood Snuggles Sleep-N-Play Octopus Bed for Rats and Ferrets

I got this for my rats, who adore the Rosewood range of snuggly beds/caves. A great size too, it seems very comfy and especially the middle cave seems very reinforced and durable, considering rats love to shred things. Another reason why I love Rosewood's beds are they are machine washable since rats like to scent things, and I imagine ferrets do too.My only concern is for anyone who owns larger ferrets as they may not be able to fit through the tubes. I have a very large rat (she's 500g or so) and it was a bit too tight for comfort so she just uses the main entrance.

I bought this for my three 18 month old male rats now they are a bit lazy and like a snuggle at play time. They all seem to quite like it and it looks and feels nice and cosy, but I think it would be a bit on the small size for adult ferrets. My 3 rats are of generous size (600-830g each) and the three of them look fairly snug all cuddled up in there. It seems like a good product so far (don't know yet how it will fare with a wash to get rid of male rat wee!!!) but have dropped a star becuase its a bit small for its inteded animal.

I bought two of these for my beloved senior-citizen rat, one for her cage and one for her free-range room. She loves them, but she is huge now, with big benign tumours, and too big for the tunnels. So I cut off the tunnels! Now she moves from one hole to another, poking her head out in a kind of game - I never know where her head will pop out next! So it amuses her and gives her multiple vantage points of the room, as well as a place to feel comfortable and hidden when she so desires. Washes well at 30 degrees.

It's flat and useless.... I've tried stuffing it overnight for it to get its shape but nothing. An absolute waste of money on my part this is never going to be used.

It's good value for money and my rats love it!We use it during playtime and use both the door and the sleeves, but they also stay inside, sleep and take treats there.They chew the sleeves a bit already, but it's a strong material, so we'll keep using it and buy another one, when this one gets old, for sure.

It's ok but not the ratio/size depicted (must be a tiny ferret) and the arms are not the same as in the picture. The paw detail was terribly finished... Really hard glue with very little precision! Made the product look terrible. Ferrets sometimes use it but then it starts to smell really quickly.

After reading other reviews thought that my rats would enjoy this. They have tried it out but they really don't seem that interested in it. A couple of cardboard boxes joined with flexible ducting from B&Q is much more fun and cheaper. Can't fault the quality of the product however. Suppose it depends on your pet whether they'll use it or not.

My little monsters love it! Running through the tunnels, curling up in the centre and ambushing each other from above, I can't see them getting bored of it anytime soon plus its washable.
