Dog breed DNA and how we measure it Breeds we test for Our tests cover 340 breeds, including all AKC, UKC and CKC breeds. Breed categorisation In explaning your dog’s breed and ancestry, we use the following categories: Level 1 At least 75% of your dog’s DNA is from a validated breed. Most mixed-breed dogs won’t have a breed in this category, unless one or both parents are purebred. Level 2 Breeds that are easily recognisable in your dog, representing 37%–74% its DNA, usually meaning a parent was a purebred. Level 3 Breeds representing 20%–36% of your dog’s DNA, usually from a grandparent. Level 4 Breeds representing 10%–20% of your dog’s DNA, usually from a great-grandparent. Level 5 The lowest level of breed in your dog, representing 9% or less of your dog’s DNA. We also offer dog allergy tests: https://www..co.uk/dp/B07GYXJ5CH?ref=myi_title_dp

Not accurate
I used it to test if my dog was a Jug, which I was told she was, it came back saying she was something completely different so I did a different DNA test with a different company, who didn't ask for a picture and the result was that she was in fact a Jug and not what the Cambridge DNA test said

Cambridge canine DNA dog breeds
Still waiting for results four weeks after sending them. Don't recommend, there's no way of contacting Cambridge canine. It was money down the drain. Not impressed. Also have read reviews regarding this company. Every review was negative, and called them scammers. It's just a pity I hadn't seen the reviews before I ordered the so called DNA kit. Save your money!! Don't buy!!

Not impressed don’t waste your money
Not really believable, results received and through with in two days, hmmmmYou have to send a photo if you want the certificate too which gives them a true image of your pet, this is very questionable

Only just got it and it takes 2 wks so not sure if it works . One thing I would say is that they supposed to tell u what breed ur dog is but on the form it asks u what breed do u think it is which defeats the whole thing as they should be telling u the breed

Possible SCAM
My dog’s ancestry was classed as corgi x border terrier, absolute nonsense, he is over 2 foot to the withers, has obvious sight hound physique and speed. I think they are using the photo not your swabs for analysis, avoid at all costs!!! 0 stars not available

Dog DNA
The company worked to the deadline but although they confirmed registration of my dog's DNA application they didn't, as they had said they would, confirm the receipt of the swabs so had to chase them on that and when the results came in there was something wrong with the e-mail they sent so it couldn't be printed. I have asked for a hard copy and have been promised one, but that was a week ago and nothing has been sent so far.

Well that's not we expected!
The component parts of our Dog's Trust acquisition revealed following a simple procedure. Ordered on-line, kit arrived promptly and results within 10 days, complete with certificate and further information. Very satisfied. Gordon retriever elements, who would have thought that!
