Sharknado 1-4 [DVD]

The ultimate guilty pleasure. There are films that are so bad they are good. ‘Sharknado’ is definitely one of these and is a hoot from beginning to end. It’s cheesy and the effects are very dodgy but these end up as endearing features that help the films work better. The stories are outrageous and fun with good pacing that keeps the viewer engaged. The actors get it just right for the type of film they are in and somehow manage to play it straight: Ian Ziering is great in the films and plays a perfect B movie hero. I really enjoyed the first three films but the fourth one did not work and fell flat badly. This set is a bargain with hours of fun to be had.

The phrase "so bad it's good" gets kicked around a lot of but these movies there's nothing else I could say to sum them up. They are absolutely fantastic! They are very well put together for what they are and the ways in which sharks and people can be killed just get more and more insane as the series progresses. However, the actors play it straight and it works beautifully. All of the movies have terrible ratings on IMDB (The first one has about a 3/10 and I think the next three all have about 4/10) but they really are gems.The cast come back again and again and there are also some great celebrity cameos/roles, including David Hasselhoff, Gary Busey, Richard Kind, Judd Hirsch, and many more. I paid about £7 for this set making them about £1.75 per film. Renting them all would have cost more. My wife had to come in and tell me to be quiet because my laughter was waking up our daughters. Go in with no expectations and you won't be disappointed.

how to start this oh i know lets start this off with that all 4 disc had a scratch on it, and when playing it disc 1 jumped 2 time same goes for disc 2, disc 3 well jumped once and even freezed up disc 4 jump only once so number 4 was the better one but still should of said its used or something then i don't think i would of wasted my money on this the only thing i can say was good was that the time it took for it to come was pretty fast thats all it has going for this item for me i don't think this is worth the price let alone the movie it self lol.

Right off the bat - these films are so bad they are good. Best watched with friends and a sharknado drinking game!Anyway - bought this after catching the third film on netflix, then having to binge watch the second.The first film is the lowest budget and perhaps isn't as good as the other three but is a good introduction to the characters. You can perhaps tell it was made for tv!The second film is great - it fully embraces it's ridiculousnessThe third film is my favourite given the ridiculous ending and has some of the funniest bits!We were drunk by the fourth film but it was still great!So in summary - great bad films!

Must see box set. Although I would recommend drinking 1st, trust me, you will appreciate the films much more if you're on your way to being Barry Ballbagged!

I love movies that you can switch your brain off for a few hours to, especially when they have such good stories, in a cheesy but very fun fashion. For the price of this 4 movie set, it's a fun ride through, plus easy going on the pocket. Great set of fun movies, a whale of a time, to be had all round!

Fun, tongue in check gory movies that are fun to watch. My son loves these movies and they are easy enough to watch without being revolted or horrified but more likely to be amused!!
