This is a great toy!
We have a two-year-old golden retriever. He hasn't really been into chewing things in the house, but tends to tear up a lot of sticks and whatnot in the back yard. I haven't let him have sticks in the house for a while, since he makes such a mess of them. I got him this as a Christmas present and he loves it. It's his main toy while in the house. He lays on his back and holds it between his paws and plays with it and chews on it. He runs around with it in his mouth when he wants something to carry/retrieve. He loves it! After two months and lots of chewing, it doesn't have any damage. Well worth the money. I will add that he is more of a gentle chewer, so I'm not sure it would hold up all that well with a dog who is determinedly destructive, but it's working well for our dog.

My dog loved this toy
This bone is one that I must say has lasted a long time. About 4 months. My boxer Lab tears apart almost every other toy except Kong treat toysIt just now broke in half and I had to throw it away.

Did NOT live up to expectations
As other posters have said, this toy will NOT withstand the rigors of a determined pooch. My dog, a 1 year old 45lb pit bull mix, converted this toy into 8 pieces (couldn't find one end) in less than an hour. Don't get me wrong. He absolutely LOVED the toy, but he had no problem in rendering it into scrap rubber in short order. So if you own a breed that can dish out serious punishment (pit bull, rottie, dogo, presa carnario, English bulldog, etc) this toy is not for you. If you are looking for a long lasting toy, stick with Kong balls. My boy hasn't made a dent in his for over a month.

Surprisingly durable.
I was skeptical on how soft this bone is. I have a 65 lb pitt that destroys everything but antlers in minutes. I also have a 60lb boxer that seems to find weakness in toys. This bone has about 4 hours of steady chewing on it and I assumed the top would be gone by now. This is a heavy duty toy but the most extreme chewers will get the top and bottoms off. For the price this is very durible and I would consider a replacement once this one goes.I will update this review once on how long it takes to destroy this.

Pretty good
Our dog can destroy aggressive chewer dog toys in a single day, sometimes in a single play session. We've had this toy for about 2 months and its still in one piece. The smooth rounded edges allow the toy to slowly roll away from him on the slightly uneven parts of our floor. It catches his attention and he goes after it to catch it.

Awesome toy for a destructible chewer!
I waited to review this because I'm never had a dog that chews up toys like our Wally does. I wanted to make sure this held up. We bought him a Gator that lasted 30 seconds. We bought him a ball at a pet store and it only lasted 15 seconds before he had it broke. We have had this over a month and its the same as the day we got it. We can leave it out for him to pick up at any time not like other toys where you have to watch him every minute. He carries it around and loves it. I would highly recommend this for aggressive chewers.

Not quite as strong as it claims to be
My dog absolutely loved playing with the toy but it isn't as tough as it claims to be. Like others on here said he basically turned it into carrot slices but it did last longer than most toys. Took him about 2 days to completely destroy it down to just the ball at the one end. It's a bit over priced for how fast he was able to destroy it but he loved it so much he still carries around what's left of it

Great buy
I have 2 aggressive chewers and our usual go to brand is no longer producing, so we gave this a try. The dogs love it and it is still intact. After a few days I reordered another one so they wouldn’t have to fight over it. Definitely recommend for heavy chewers!
