Set of 3 Large Leche Flan Molder / Llanera 6 x 4 x 1½

Though regular round baking pans also work for making leche flan, nothing beats the traditional molds. I just wished they made this a bit larger.

We expected, based on the sheer cost of these things, that they were professionally constructed. Sadly, this was not the case. We received 3 pans that all looked to be fabricated with aluminium dug out of the recycle bin; all of them have odd patterns, pictures, or UPC symbols on them. After a couple of uses, every one of the molds began to show signs of metal fatigue and cracks are developing around the edges.

Was flimsy and the seal isn’t very good. After 1 or 2 uses, you can see sugar leaking out of them. And overprices

Small in size.

Hand made. Very thin aluminum easy to distort . Shipment was undamaged surprising since they are so thin. Being thin makes the heat of cooking go directly to the contense.
