Plants love them, really thriving. Allows for air on sides, and bottom, and not just top of soil, and drain holes. Pots also allow for drainage on sides, as well as bottom. Pots are very sturdy, can be lifted by grasping top of pot, without damage, and can be reused. Much better than nursery pots. I move tomato plants around deck for maximum sunlight, and only have to water individual pots, instead of entire garden patch, with in-ground plants.Am going to use pots to start trees from Arbor Day Foundation, until they are good and strong, and ready for in-ground planting. Found out about these by accident, and wish I had known a long time ago. Working great here in South Carolina, where we have a long grow season. Hope this review helps.

these containers are awesome all my plants are growing excellent. I planted zucchini in the 5lb pot. I also purchased 2 of the 7 gallon pots as well and planted one cherry tomato plant in one and habaneros and jalapeno peppers and all of them are flowering already except for the zucchini but have lots la leaves but no flowers as of yet but it should have some pretty soon. I am excited about having a good little crop of veggies pretty soon.This is a wonderful product and my plants are all pretty big in size too a lot bigger than if I used the plastic containers I normally use. I also bought the big bag mini bag but I'm going to save that and use it next year to grow even more things.

So after 3 months, I have used 3 of the fabric pots and they work splendidly! I've grown wildflowers in 1, squash and cilantro in the other and red cabbage is coming along in the 3rd. I like that the Smart Pots are easy to move around on my patio even when recently watered. They allow for root growth vs. putting them in a plastic planter where I'd have to drill holes in the bottom for drainage purposes. I will be buying these in the future because the vendor is reliable and the delivery arrived a few days earlier than expected, undamaged. Thank you.

These are much better than hard plastic pots. They are breathable so air and water can permeate, meaning the water doesn't soak int eh bottom and rot the roots, and the soil doesn't go bad. You just keep adding more organic fertilizer or compost and you never have to re-pot. Hint: make sure you use a big enough pot. For example, 40 gallon is about right for a tomato plant. These little 5 gallon ones are for very small house plants or young plants. I'm keeping a rosemary plant in one so I can take it inside in the winter, and a year old serviceberry tree in the other so that I will be able to keep it when we sell our house next year (but then it goes straight into the ground),

Good product. Currently have a cucumber plant, ground cherries and mint in these. They seem to really like them as they are thriving.

Smart pots are my favorite pots to grow my veggies and fruits in. I have a pretty serious squirrel problem in my back yard and short of eradicating them, which I won't, there is really nothing that can be done. Squirrels are smart, tenacious, and also essential. So smart pots don't completely solve the problem but they come very close. I can move them around and bring in my plants when it gets too cold or hot out. These pots also make over watering less of an issue and I don't have to worry as much about needing to keep roots pruned. They cheap and they great.

I have planted all my summer crops in the smart pots - they are easy to move, all plants are doing great. I would recommend various pots sizes.

I grew some vegetable plants from seeds this summer, starting late. When the cold weather was coming I got these planters to bring the plants inside. I gave my mom half of the seedlings and she used her own containers. Comparing the 2 groups, mine are a lot taller and healthier looking. I really think the breathable material is the difference as we used the exact same soil and I actually have a tendency to overwater. I have them sitting on a plastic liner due to the material. But water never pools out. It’s just damp under the planters. I had purchased single planters but as my plants grew they needed their own space. This pack was a great deal and I’m happy with the purchase.
