Do not buy this if you have a dog bigger than 15 pounds. It is way too small to safely give to a larger dog. I tried to return this in its original packaging to get a bigger one for my 75 pound dog but the seller does not except returns. I just spent money on literally nothing.

Just like a child, it’s sometimes hard to get your dog to do things that are good for him. Here, at least, he’s trying it enthusiastically. And that’s the first step to cleaner teeth. I’ll be anxious to hear what my vet says about my dogs teeth on our next visit

My dog is completely uninterested in this chew, probably because there is absolutely no hint of peppermint or baking soda. The chew is also too small to be used safely by even a small dog. This product doesn't even come close to the description.

Waldo loved his new chew/toothbrush. He gnawed on it for about 15 minutes then I put it away. I expect this will help keep his teeth free of plaque and will be a little less traumatizing than the toothbrush.

My dog also wanted nothing to do with it, wouldn’t even lick it once she smelled it. I agree with others it’s not as peppermint strong as they lead on and it’s way too small for a small dog. I have 15lb mini Doxie and I’m not sure I’d even be comfortable with guided supervision if she would chew on it, It feels hard as a rock, when I took out of package my thought was “ how she going to bite this hard thing “. Well, she didn’t. Great concept, poor execution. Possibly a tad softer, larger extended base, taller and tad less girth with a more appealing flavor. As many others stated the manufacturer has a no return policy, so out $6. You’d at least think they’d stand behind their product and take them back and donate the unused ones to a shelter. I believe I’ll only purchase dog chews in the future that the manufacturer stands behind with a 100% money back guarantee that your dog will like their product.

The toy seems to do a good job holding up to a tough chewer. The dog hasn't put it down since it came. bristles up just like it's supposed to and the dog seems to like the flavor. good toy

I tried this after Pup lost interest in the "regular" shaped chew bones. Pup took to this nicely. Now I put a dot of puppy toothpaste on it daily, after Pup eats, and she will then chew and brush with the Bullibone Brusher for several minutes. I have since signed up to 'Subscribe and Save' this item. It's a keeper. Well, kinda.. one Brusher lasts about a month with regular use before it needs to be replaced. Pup gnaws it almost all the way down to the base.

Really wanted to like this. It is small but was fine for my 60 Pit bull to chew on. The issue I have with it is, that the "bristles" that come out, at least at first are sharp and cut my dogs gums. She chewed on it the first time with zeal, bled a lot, she tried a few more times but it obviously hurts. Now she wont chew on it. Oh well, worth a shot!
