Excellent customer Service. Very good product.
My EV came with a charger but it kept tripping my breakers. I had the electrician check my set up twice and they reassured me that the circuit breaker etc was rated to handle a 50 amp 240V charger.I bought this one for the price and fact that I didnt need to wire it in.I bought the wrong plug adapter - I have a 14-50 receptacle and got a 10-30 plug. I called the company and they sent an exchange in 2 days - with a return envelope for the one I couldn’t use. They paid for shipping. My mistake and they happily took care of me FOR FREE. Switched plugs out in 30 seconds and was good to go. Car has been charging just fine ever since.ChRge cable length is plenty long.

Worked great for almost 2 years
I bought this charger about a year and half ago. Worked flawless until now. I have to wiggle the plug to get it to charge sometimes. And sometimes it wont charges at all. I know its not my car i have another charger i leave at home and it works every time i plug it in. I reached out the the company today we will see what they say. Out of warranty of course. But we’ll see

Charge It! You Cannot Do Without This.
We got a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5. The included charger could only charge the car batteries 1%. We have solar panels so we want to be able to charge it at home, not at a charging station. This charger fit into our unused 220 Volt Drier outlet and charged the car from 40% to 100& overnight. This is a necessity to use the Ioniq 5.

Worked fine .. then one day didn't
The media could not be loaded. Bought this 18 months ago for C-Max and it worked fine, though erratic 'full' charge ranged from 11 to 18 miles?? Anyway, today it started making a loud erratic 'clicking' noise from the black box and fault light comes on, then off. Box has been affixed outside in SoCal out of the weather, and does not show any sign of case / water damage

Just 16 AMPs. Be aware that it take twice the time to charge your vehicle than using a 32 AMP
I ordered this because I was new to the EV world and it seemed a good value for the money.That being said: it works just fine, there is nothing wrong with it BUT it is just 16 AMPs. It takes 5 hours for my Pacifica to bring it to a full charge. With the 30 mile range I have, I need to recharge it FASTER. Here is the thing: I drop my son at preschool 8:30 in the morning and pick him up 12:30 and it is 24 mile round trip, so when I am back around 9 I need to charge it within 3 hours. With the 16 AMP that just doesn't work for me....After 2 weeks, I ended up buying a 32 AMP charger and its works really great. It brings it to a full charge from 0% to 100% in a bit more than 2 hours.Conclusion:If you are not in a hurry and just charge overnight, this charger does a great job.If you need FAST charging, stay away from it.

Cheapest Tesla charger with a 30' cord.
I am thrifty, but I wanted an alternative to the Tesla UMC, which only has an 18' cord. Also, I wanted a redundant charger in case my UMC stopped working. This was the best alternative I could find that had a 30' cord length. This setup allows me to plug the charger inside my garage, but charge my car facing forward just outside my garage. I got tired of having to back my car into the driveway to charge. I would have preferred the 32 amp, but then I would have been approaching the Tesla HPWC cost of $500. Refilling my Tesla Model 3 at 16 miles per hour is fine at home since it is overnight. I wanted the Tesla UMC for car trips to be able to recharge at 32 miles an hour.I did buy another Tesla adaptor to stay permanently in this charger because I wanted to keep my Tesla UMC and original adaptor in my car for an unexpected charge.

Nice to not be on Level 1 any more
I ordered the 30' 14-30P version so I could share my dryer outlet, since I wasn't yet to call an electrician out to add another circuit to my garage.The company seems to really care about you being happy, and love their approach to offing different lengths of cable by varying the pigtail length.On the J1772 side it is the standard length to the control box, and the on the 14-30 plug side they have a NEMA L6-30R & P inserted between the 14-30 and the control box, so however long they need to make, they can. I especially like this approach because I have a 14-30 splitter, one connected to my dryer, and one connected to the approx 5' 14-30P>L6-30R, and when I need to use the EVSE, I just connect the L6-30R & P together, and saves me from needing to go behind the dryer and always plugging in the heavier 14-30P.I've only had it a day, but love this approach, and so glad I can charge faster than my L1.I haven't found the J1772 connector to bind up or be hard to remove as other reviewers have mentioned, so not sure if this is a newer version, but it connects/disconnects with the same force as any commercial or my stock L1 charger does.This is a reputable brand, so I'm sure it will last, but have no doubt if I do end up having a problem that Primecom would try to resolve it.

16 amp is slow
My only issue is that 16 amp runs very slow for being on a 50amp line. The instructions were a little unclear but when I called they were able to explain.

Ce chargeur n’est pas conçu comme borne principale. c’est un dépanneur.Il recharge à 3500 w/h donc il convient pour les petites batteriesCommandé vers 21h00 un lundi soir et reçu sans frais le lendemain pm.Tout fonctionne très bien, l’afficheur nous donne le détail de: voltage, amperage, temps, température de la batterie et consommation électrique. Le « gun » se branche parfaitement à la voiture sans résistance.A fonctionné 20 mois comme chargeur principal. Ajoutez quelques centaines de dollars en plus si vous cherchez un chargeur principal.ÉricThetford Mines, Qc, Canada

I love this Charger / well attented customer service
It is a well built product and I used it for a couple days. It was delivered to me in just 2 days upon placing order. It is a plus. My only comment so far is on the Power and Charger lights which were too bright to watch the LED panel above it. But this is only a minor issue which have nothing to do with it functionality. I would recommand to people who consider buying this home charger.Further to my review, I would like to say thank you to the customer serive rep, David who is patient and explained to me what was my problem and how to handle it.

Just what I was looking for...
Excellent vehicle charger! Very fast and easy shipping which is included in the price. With cable adapters for just about any situation possible you can imagine. In my search for a new vehicle charger that totally replaces my stock one and gives me many options, this is the best I can find. A call to the dealer in Ontario and they will tell you anything about it you want to know. I definitely recommend this!

Very satisfied
I have had this charger for about 9 months now and it has been working well. It greatly simplified my charger setup in our new house as there is a dryer plug in our garage. I have the charger plugged in inside the garage and I have the cable led under the garage door and hanging up outside. Although it charges about ½ a fast as the wired in level 2 charger I previously had I find it more than meets my needs. Considering that I was estimating about $1500 to get a wired-in charger installed this was a much cheaper solution

Bought a different suppliers 32A unit before I found out it drew more power than my 100A panel could provide, This unit works perfectly without me having to upgrade my entire service to 200A. Works like a charm for me, very happy!
