I have a garden pergola where pigeons sit and pooh on the path underneath. This nailed to the pergola has greatly reduced the pigeons (I only nailed it to the uppermost wooden cross members). I also have pigeon pooh problem from a porch flat roof. I've stuck (with the adhesive supplied) the spikes here and pigeons are no longer there. Unfortunately they still use the roof edge higher up so there's still some pooh problem, but less than before These spikes are not cheap but seem effective. And I think they are UK made. I've only had them for a month or two now so longevity yet to be established.

After buying & using the narrow version of these spikes to do a window ledge & stopping the pigeons congregating there, I went for these wider spikes to top my balcony railing (as prickle strips I'd previously used proved to be perfectly comfortable for pigeons to stand /walk on).They're great! I attached them using re-usable zip ties rather than the glue (which I'm saving for spiking another window-ledge or three, and I might be repainting my railings in a month or so), and the pigeons are no longer hanging around.Thanks!

Perhaps the best purchase I have made this century, Explaining that I had over the years had pigeons that were landing in numbers on my garage roof every day,which from looking out of the kitchen window shows the whole 23 foot length and I decided to get onto the garage roof and fix these plastic spikes onto 3 lengths of wood I had just screwed onto the edge of the roof using the supplied silicone and Hey Presto... have NOT seen another pigeon for 2 days and love seeing the small wild birds enjoying the feed I leave them without costing me a fortune feeding the neighbours pigeons as wiell.

Good value pack but, as someone who has only just had to pick up on DIY, I didn't realize that I needed equipment to be able to use the adhesive supplied. I would have bought that at the same time if I'd known so better highlighting of this fact would be useful.

Absolutely excellent product. Great adhesion even though the surface couldn't be fully cleaned. Plenty of glue supplied for the whole 6m (I had leftover). The strips can easily be snapped into shorter pieces for small gaps. No pigeons have been able to land at all since I put these up. They're clear plastic too, so they don't look ugly.Note, the adhesive requires a silicone gun tool to use it!

Like the fact that it is very easy to snap the lengths by hand to make them the right length for a given roof edge. Be warned though that the adhesive supplied is pretty much the exact amount needed. Don't be too generous with it.Also found them to be good for guiding cables across a flat roof. Unexpected bonus for me 👍

Opps! I recently bought the metal end spikes same product however I just made a new order and accidentally ordered the plastic ones which were a tad cheaper, wish I would have bought the metal ones again anyhow doesn't really matter as they all do the job and when I say do the job it does exactly that, I,ve bought over 50 metres of this product, I have a very large tree in my garden and I used to see probably 10 birds at a time sitting on my 6 chimneys or ridge hey presto all gone now time to install on my out buildings, sorry I forgot to say I had scaffolding up at the time so the roofer happily installed them as he went along - you do not notice the spikes, however the birds do and don't dodo anymore :)

Once fitted, which was straightforward, pigeons and other birds cannot land or perch on the fence line. They learned very quickly, didn't even attempt to perch on their "go to" fence. Murray!
