This is much better than my last dog brush. I have two Siberian Huskies who shed a lot. It has a feature where you click in for the bristles and click out to cover the bristles. No more picking hair and getting pinched. It cleans very easy and it doesn’t irritate the dog. Both dogs loved to be groomed.

Great slicker brush! The fact that it retracts and takes all the hair off is fantastic. I have a great pyrenees and this brush works great for getting the extra furr off. My only complaint is the button has got stuck multiple times to retract. I have to push it against something to jam it back in. Awesome other than that.

I will tell you one thing it is easy to hold but the teeth bent because I was brushing my husky the teeth are not strong enough to go through Huskies hair or German Shepherds hair

Very well made product but I must say it's a little rough on my 16 pounds fur babies. My boys have a lot of hair, this brush helps me keep their fur without knots and always looking smooth.

I have a 12 year old black lab and she LOVES being pampered with this brush. I LOVE the self-cleaning aspect. I used to dread brushing her because the hair was difficult to remove from the brush and it clung to my hands when I tried. This brush is a breeze! Some on here have talked about the brush edges being rough or cutting but this is not the case. You can buy wire type brushes at any pet store so they are not dangerous to use if you aren't rough brushing your pet and if you don't brush the same area over and over. Most wire brushes will tell you this on the packaging. So, the real difference in this and any other brush is that it is self-cleaning. For this reason it makes it AMAZING!

I have to be really careful with how I brush my dog with this. The de-shedding is great, but the bristles are very sharp and I have to be extremely gentle with it. She has a “double” coat (an undercoat and a top, longer coat), so it is made for her breed.

Grooming my Long coat German Shepherd is such a breeze with this brush..... the best part is the self cleaning mechanism. Gets rid of the pet hair with just the push of a button. Earlier it was a pain to clean the brush after grooming my pet. Once used, the brush would stay unused for a long time as it wasn't cleaned the first time after use. But now with this Novelty Wares pet grooming brush, its easier than ever and that makes using the brush again and again easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend this to pet owners who are looking for a convenient way to groom their pets.

I like the self-cleaning brush, the button removing the dog hairs is working great. But it is hard to brush my dogs because the handle isn't stationary, it is turning and sliding off requiring you to stop and re-attach it. I would not have bought it if I knew about this problem.
