iSolo Pure Wireless String Instrument Microphone System

I do open mic with my acoustic and grew unhappy with the sound of the peizo pickup so I started looking into something better. I came across many options but the iSolo stood out the most because not only does it sound like a natural acoustic, there's no permanent install and is extremely easy to use. In my curiosity I decided to throw in one of my other pedals with 100+ effects built in to hear how it sounds. I was not disappointed, it sounded great from standard chorus to flanger and even to some gain/distortion. But using distortion on an acoustic is more for fun/show than anything practical. "hey look at me doing sweeps on an acoustic."It was estimated I would receive this about a month after placing the order, but they ship through DHL and it went from Taiwan to Texas in 3 days. THREE DAYS! That was so cool. Everything arrived in wonderful condition. To my recollection it's not described to come with the recording USB interface nor the mic holder for a classical soundhole, but it definitely did! BONUS! It even comes with a neat little carrying case, another bonus!The only real issue I came across was that after about 5min of getting acclimated with the iSolo the battery died. This was to be expected because it doesn't come fully charged. However, after 5hrs of charging it, the mic would not turn on. I immediately contacted customer service and explained my situation. After some troubleshooting and still not getting it to work they sent me a new one, no questions asked, free of charge, and without having to send the other one back all within a matter of days (gotta love DHL) Since I've had the replacement I've had no issues with it and am having more fun playing with mic/effects combinations than I am getting anything done in the studio haha.All in all, this is a wonderful/natural sounding pickup with no hum/feedback, easy to use, and despite how iffy of the price I was at first, I'm finding it to be very much worth it.6 stars. It's easy to set up sounds good easy to switch guitars out I like it . Freedom from wires .Now looking for wireless headset mic that sounds good to go with it. "There are no strings on me"
