The smallest holds a tiny amount
The littlest bowl holds just under 1/3 a cup of cat kibbles. We also have the next size up and that one holds more. These dishes are perfect for the cats. They don't slide around and if your pet bulldozers food like mine does, you will love the less mess design. They are sturdy and easy to clean. The metal bowl means no acne from a reaction to plastic. My one cat with eating difficulty is happier and eating better with the angle. He has trouble grabbing food in a flat bowl. This bowl helps him eat versus chase food around.

Heavy Duty!
Love everything about this food dish! It’s for my boy (cat) River. He no longer moves his food dish it’s nice and heavy and has rubber grips on the bottom. Love love the deep stainless steal bowl too. Easy to clean. Of course I love the color!! You can’t go wrong. I put 1 cup and a smidge more of food in his bowl and he has plenty of room left. Pick your color and buy it!!

A bit small
I ordered this for our English Bulldog. I read where it is supposed to be better for them to use a tilted bowl. As others mentioned, the bowl is small-although I knew that going in. I just couldn't spring for the larger one which was a lot more money. I have not had any problems with the bowl. It slips out when I want to clean it but not when the dog is eating. It is not heavy weight and the bottom rubber pieces are small. I keep it on a feeding mat so it does not slide. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. I have noticed that she is burping less, hopefully from not taking in so much air when she eats. I am concerned that now she can wolf down her meal in seconds as opposed to using the slow feeder that I used before. I like that the bowl itself is stainless and not plastic. If my opinion changes, I will follow up.

Help with Small Dog Sizing
I am writing this review in hopes it will help someone who is trying to decide which size to purchase for their small dog(s). I spent WAAAAYYYY too much of my time trying to get the perfect size/configuration for my own three small dogs, so perhaps this review will save someone else from the same fate.First, let me say I love these bowls. The base is made of a nice and sturdy plastic, they have some weight to them, and their non-skid grips prevent them from sliding around on our hardwood floors. They stay in place while our dogs are eating. The food bowl itself is made of a nice stainless steel but do note it is not heavy weight. Perfect for our needs though. My goal was to purchase a bowl that prevents neck issues. While I liked the idea of a simple raised bowl, I discovered my dogs still had to bend their necks in the same fashion as they did while eating from a ground-level bowl. I like the idea of the 15 degree angle bowls, so I decided to go ahead with this particular brand. With regard to sizing, I first ordered the smalls for our two Chihuahuas and the medium for our Japanese Chin. While these sizes generally worked for them, I didn't feel the bowls offered enough of a change from their original bowls. So, I decided to watch our two Chihuahuas take turns at eating out of our Japanese Chin's medium-sized bowl and felt it was a much better fit; it was slightly higher and just gave them better body mechanics while eating. What I realized for the Chin is that, while technically the medium would work for him, I felt he could benefit from a slightly larger bowl for proper body mechanics, and more importantly, for his large head. Japanese Chins have a flat face and an overly large head. Although it would seem the large is too big for a seven pound dog, it is perfect for him! He has tons of room to fit his face in the bowl (no snout) and still has space on the sides for extra oxygen so that he can slurp and snort while he chows down his food.As a point of reference, I will give the measurements for our dogs:Chihuahua #1 is 5.5 pounds, slender and dainty, 8 inches from floor to top of shoulders. Size Medium is perfect for her.Chihuahua #2 is 6 pounds, squatty and bulky, 8.5 inches from floor to top of shoulder. Size Medium is perfect for her.Japanese Chin is 7 pounds, sleek and slender, 9.5 inches from floor to top of shoulder and has a round, wide, flat-faced head. Size Large is perfect for him.The first couple of times they ate from their bowls they weren't too sure, but they all quickly adapted and seem to love their new set-up. Hope this review helps!

Wonderful design, but not long lasting
POSITIVE: The design is both beautiful and very functional. We feed wet food. Genius how the slanted sides keep our dogs long ears out of her food. The bowls are easy to clean.ACCEPTABLE: It's not 100% spill prove since food will move over the sides if dog licks in various directions, not just straight towards the back. Our dog tends to approach her bowl from different angels. But no big dealNOT SO GREAT: The silicone strip that holds the stainless steel inserts in place came off on one of our two bowls after a few weeks of use. Without the strip, the stainless steel insert is moving and spinning as the dog is licking the food. I pushed the silicone strip back on several times but it just would not stay in place. The other bowl did not have this problem.SUMMARY: Would have absolutely given this bowl 5 stars if both bowls would have lasted past a few weeks of use.

My dog loves it
I have a skittish dog who sees his reflection in the bottom of a regular metal bowl and runs away. I got this because it is tilted, and he can't see his reflection anymore. He loves it and eats his food without running away now.

Bowl for cat/small dog
I’ve had it now for 3 years - very well made, especially the steel bowl. It is used for water for upstairs nightly thirst, as the bowl would be too small for a daily water consumption for my Jack Russel (8kg dog).Recommended

Great dog bowl for my Frenchie
This is the second one of these I have as my dog eats raw food, so there’s always one bowl in the wash. Both the metal bowl and the plastic surround are dishwasher proof and the angled bowl with the raised back makes eating easier. He can push the bowl around the kitchen a bit though. The rubber feet are okay but could do with an extra grip or better rubber.

The cat loves it!
Bought this for my 3rd cat as the other 2 had one and the face of disbelief when she realised she had been gifted a matching bowl to her brother and sister was priceless. None the less, good build quality, sturdy base and works spot on with stopping them scoffing their food so quick!
