Book was used yet arrived quickly in perfect condition. Love this book and the perspectives that the author writes from. Ruchama took me back in time. This is a must read and a good addition to your library.

A must read

I loved it. Great historical account of some of the head Rabbis from the turn of the Century. Well written like a novel

I read this book and when discussing with a friend and her mother, decided to buy her a copy! She really liked it--and was pleasantly surprised to receive it too! Wonderful book!

This book is a Jewish classic. Warm memoirs by a daughter, giving us a glimpse into life for a religious Jewish family in America 50-100 years ago.

All for the Boss offers a rare gimps into the world of a tzadik. How he ate, slept, raised his children, related to his parents, chose a wife and more. The choices he made are nothing less than awe inspiring. A friend lent me her book and before I was done reading it, I resolved to buy my own copy in order to lend it out to as many people as possible. It has left such an impression on me that I can plainly say that there has been many a time that I stop and ask myself "is this what R' Yaakov Yosef Herman would do?" If I could narrow down which books have had the most impact on my life, this would be at the top 5. I can't recommend it highly enough!

This book is one of the classic memoirs of modern Jewish literature. I'm now reading it again with my 7yo son, and we are both enthralled. This is a book about being true to your values even when that means swimming against the raging tides of contemporary society. Highly recommended!!
