Although the price is attractive this dirndl seems more like a costume than authentic dirndl in quality of fabric and sewing (although the label seemed to be German). The styling and colors were pretty (like the embroidered top and chain ties), but had some issues so had to send back. It runs very short waisted so when I put on it seemed more like an empire waist than dirndl. The apron must be the same for all sizes as the ties were not proportioned to be long enough for me to tie in front side. The blouse sleeves elastic are very tight on arms. I normally wear a 16W in US and ordered an 18, 20 and 22. The 20 and 22 barely fit so only order this if you are shortlisted and thinner! The size chart isn't accurate so suggest you order a couple of sizes and try on.

I was expecting a "midi" length. I am 5'6" and the length was not midi for me. I fell at the knee's end. I was expecting a little longer.Also, what do you do with the chain after it is loop through the bodice? There lacks a hook of fastener.

I had to send it back. The quality is very good and I liked it a lot, but way to small. If you order you need to order at least two sizes bigger. Good quality for the price!!!

This is my third Dirndl, each from a different manufacturer. The problem with all of them is they are cut extremely short waisted, so the narrowest part of the dress is going to hit above your natural waistline, no matter how long or short waisted you are. In order to get the zipper up you have to start with that measurement when deciding what size to purchase. The bottom will fit no matter how big your hips and butt are, and the top depends on bust and shoulder size. I am 5'7" 150 lbs, thick waist, broad ribcage and shoulders, 38C bust. I ordered the size 46 because I didn't want a tight dress for an entire day of beer drinking and bratwurst eating. This resulted in the top of the dress sticking out strangely but I figured it didn't really matter, plus the puffiness of the blouse kind of hides it. The white blouse is cut more modestly than some of the others, but the elastic in the sleeves could be a bit tight for some. It looks like only one size of apron was made, and it's a bit narrow for the larger size, but the ties are plenty long. My other complaint is the chain is very long and has no actual clasp in the end to hook after tightening. I'm going to replace with some gold ribbon. As long as you aren't expecting to look slim and svelte and have a large enough bust to fill out the top, it's a pretty dress for the price.

I ordered a size bigger than what the chart said. It was still way to small.

Purchased for a size 14 child. W,orked with pins but a bit large especially the top.

After a slight fitting adjustment, it is a good fit

I ordered 2 sizes bigger than I normally wear and this is way too small- a total waste of money.
