I ordered these shorts for Mardi Gras and St Patrick's Day in green. They fit perfectly. They are not see through. I ordered a small and they fit like a T. I am only 5ft 3 and under 110lbs. They may be really short for someone much taller or curvier. I danced all night in them and they were super comfortable. They are not high waisted which is exactly what I was looking for. Great buy for the price.

Got Blue and Bk5027 Multicolor Purple both in medium. For reference, I'm 5'3", 115 lbs. My true waist (above belly button) is about 26", but the measurement around where the waistband hits (below belly button) is 29" measured over the band. Measurement around hips/booty is 36". the measurement of the shorts from top of waist band to crotch seam is 9.5" and from top of waistband to hem of shorts is 10". It's not a true booty short in the sense that my booty is covered. A small might have been cheekier, but I like it just like this. I like to have some room to breathe. Got them for burning man. Some reviewers have said they had no problem machine washing them and even putting them in the dryer. I find that really hard to imagine (especially the dryer part since the metal on the fabric gets melty at high temps). My advice would be hand wash, hang dry to prolong life, but still be realistic. Pro tip: for storage fold them inside out because the metal fabric tends to stick to itself and when you pull it apart it can take some of the metal off.

I ordered a pair of medium silver shorts and received one pair of silver shorts and one in black, both medium – certainly no complaints! The two pairs fit fairly differently. The silver is looser. Doesn't fall down, looks good, but is loose enough to wrinkle a bit when I move around. The black pair's tighter, still fits well and comes up high enough; it feels tighter and stretches instead of wrinkles when I move/bend. Both look good and are within tolerance for what I thought I might get based on reviews, but when I lay them out on top of each other, the silver pair is at least an inch and a half wider than the black (both medium, both seeming to stretch the same amount). Haven't tried machine-washing them based on reviews but have lightly hand-washed them and preserved the color. It's an appropriate quality for the price.

Item say for women but looks like for a child size eventhough I order xl.AAlso shorts is ruffled at the waist banded bit noy in the picture. Have shorts to me 9 yr old niece was a waste of time to send back for $5..very unsatisfied

They were super cute and great material, but gosh darn there's just too much junk in the trunk! I passed these on to a friend who's a little more board-like and she loved them, great fit. They just can't get around that big badonkadonk

BUY THESE! I bought these for my joker costume. They were exactly what I was looking for!!! I was very hesitant at first, because I was afraid that they would be too small. I’m 5’10 and the large fit me perfectly! The color looks just like the pictures. My only con is they will get uncomfortable after a while. Especially in the front if you try to hike them up a little bit. I would advise just letting them sit at your hips. They definitely do give you a shape as well.

Pretty , great stretch fit , comfortable wore underneath dresses& skirts . I personally being thicker size L/Xl would not wear alone it shows all the curves to revealing for me but you sure can! Beautiful shorts! Great dance , sleeping or summer shorts. Hand wash material or delicate bag.

I size up one and it was still too small, wasn’t too comfortable but still cute - felt cheap
