These are major cute mice that protect your hands when taking cookie sheets or pans from the oven. They are not long, so easy on and off. They double as amusing puppets for adults or children that make a satisfying little "clack" noise when snapping their mouths closed. I think they'd make great stocking stuffers for the holidays, but I'm keeping the ones I got!

Cute but mouse heads are too small for most adults

This item is pretty cool. It protects you from heat on other surfaces up to 450 degrees F. I got them for my mother for christmas as she loves anything rooster related and mentioned she needed some new pot holders. My only complaint is that I wish there were more material here. It's hard to keep these securely on you hands as my knuckles were beyond the back of where you insert your hands. If these were more like gloves a bit, I think it'd be better... and that's the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. But great product!

I had seen these a few years ago sold in a catalog - I meant to purchase them but I ended up forgetting about them. That is until I located them on amazon doing a search. I have to say they are so cute - that was the selling factor for me. They are functional as well. Although I have to say, I thought the silicone would have been much heavier - it is rather on the light side. So, you have to be aware of how you pick up hot items - depending you may feel some of the heat. Still, couldn't help it - they're darling - and that won out.

We have one of these and bought more as they are both fun and also do the job!

These are good as far as they cover. They are easy to clean and we have used them to get items out of the oven at 475 degrees (fahrenheit), but they would be more useful (and would have received 5 stars from me) if they covered your entire hand instead of leaving the portion closest to the wrist as well as the entire wrist exposed.

The tag says right on these that they are not a toy, and I purchased them for my grandchildren to use in their "kitchen". LOL They matched an apron I made and that was the whole reason I purchased these.

These are wonderful. They're perfect for lifting out the insert to my electric pressure cooker. They grab the thin edge of the insert easily. They also make good potholders. They were recommended by "hippressurecooking.com" and I'm glad I purchased them. I use them all the time. They come in a variety of animal faces and they are cute.
