Good value budget camcorder
The media could not be loaded. This is something I'm hoping to help me with my Vlogs etc. I didn't have a large budget and this seemed like the best all round setup. For the price, you get a surprising amount of stuff. This includes a 4K camcorder, 2 batteries, charging cable, HDMI cable, a macro lens, a wide angle lens, an external microphone, a fill in LED light, and a very handy carry bag. You also get of course user instructions for the camera and seperate ones for the mic and light. The camera has a pull out screen which also rotates so that you can see what you are doing if you are taking 'selfie' type videos/photos. It is also a touch screen, making access to the various menus faster and easier. There are a number of video modes which are HD 30 & 60 FPS, FHD 30 & 60 FPS, 2K 30 FPS and 4k 24 FPS. This gives a wide choice of video options. There is also a 16x digital zoom. There are also various photo resolutions. The camera is a little sparse on software features though it does have HDR and an option to change the EV in video. It does not have image stabilisation so care will be needed with active shooting. There is auto focus only and I've found the focus tends to be on the soft side for objects closer than around 3 mtrs to the camera. This is probably due to the size of the sensor. Being a digital zoom, of course the image deteriorates when zoomed in. This is an accepted 'feature' of digital zooming. The higher the resolution you are using the better the zoom rates will be and filming in 4k gives a reasonable zoom result.A very welcome feature, is the IR lighting allowing shooting in dark conditions and it's great to see this feature on a camcorder and especially so one of this price range.Another great feature is the WiFi streaming option so you can view footage using the N4KDigitalVideo app.The camera needs a standard sized SD card (or a micro card with a standard adaptor) and for 4k footage it's essential you use a U3 card for smoother footage. I first tried with a spare U1 card I had and I got jittery footage on 4K and less than smooth 2k footage. The camera is very easy to use with menus accessible via the onboard controls or the screen. The software is fairly sparse and you don't get much in the way of special shooting options but most things can be done in post production anyway. You get a few more options for taking photos though. You can manually change shutter speed as well as EV, iso and white balance. There is also facial recognition and multishot options. The camera seems to prefer tripod use and this is how I intend using it most of the time anway. The macro and wide angle lenses do just what you'd expect of them and it's nice that you have the facility to use different lenses on a budget camera like this. The microphone does it's job nicely too and it has a noise reduction feature as well as volume boost/cut to suit different circumstance. It needs a button battery which is supplied.A minor issue here is that the connecting cable dangles in front of the screen and can get in the way of the controls. Not a major problem though. The fill in light is a very handy feature and this can also be fitted to the camera 'hot shoe'. This requires 4 x AA batteries which are not supplied. This does a very good fill in job and is good supplemental lighting. You can fit both the mic and the light onto the camera at the same time using the light's spare shoe. Each also feature a threaded tripod hole so you can use suitable clips or another tripod if you need to.The carry bag is a great accessory providing you space to put all of your kit in one place and the padding will protect it. The supplied shoulder strap will ensure it's easy to carry. You can't expect it to match professional grade cameras that cost hundreds of pounds but this is a great camera for the price and ideal for social media etc.I've uploaded a higher quality version of the video on youtube (search "Actitop 4k Camcorder")

Not perfect but definitely good value
Got it a few days ago on a lightning deal so worked our really cheap. So far really happy with it and I will actually be getting another one.Got it mainly for the night vision feature as I already have a decent Full HD camcorder but it did not come with it. Really pleased with how it handles at night. Quality is good and works nicely with my IR lamp.Daytime video quality is also quite good - 4K and 1080p are really sharp. There are a few bits that I don't like about this camcorder. They are not that important to me but worth mentioning particularly if you want to buy it as a main camcorder - especially for outdoor use:- no lens cover - my Panasonic has a built-in one here you only get one with wide angle lens so no cover if you don't use it- no optical zoom - only digital- build quality is not great in places - i.e. the screen rattles a bit when folded- the small camcorder body bag is a bit small to fit it with the battery on. It just does it barely when pushed in, holds it no problem with battery removed.Good points:- good video quality- external mic jack + decent starter external mic included- 2 batteries included- nice carry bag included with lots of storage for bits and bobs

4k ? 4K ? 4K ? NO WAYU
I have been wanting a 4K video recorder in order to make some high quality instructional videos. Having read the reviews for this video camera I could not wait for it to arrive. OH MY GOODNESS 4K ? 4K ? 4K ? who writes these reviews ? the video and photo quality of this camera is shocking. And i mean shocking. Indoor photos are a complete no no. The so called 4K video quality is awful. I am so disappointed. I am 100% returning it for a full refund. I did not want to write this review, but I don't want anyone ordering this camera, it is no way as advertised. My mobile phone is 4K, records amazing video and takes much better photos than this video camera. 48MB photos ? ? ? please who are you kidding ? I really don't know what else to say.

Gray option for Vloggers
I picked this up to help me with my vlogs. Previously I had been using a webcam, but wanted to upgrade to something better but without costing a fortune. The kit comes in a very nice travel bag with padded compartments. Inside this you get the 4K camcorder with two batteries, a macro lens, a wide angle lens, an external microphone, a fill in LED light and all the cables needed for charging as well as user manuals for each part.To turn on the camcorder you pull out the screen. The screen can be positioned at any angle which makes it far more comfortable for getting the correct angle shot or when using it to record yourself as you can have the screen facing you. The screen, which is a touch-screen) is also used for accessing all of the menu options.I was very pleased with the picture quality and coupled with the HDR option it really did improve my videos from my previous cameras. It also comes with a night mode that improves low light level recording. Whilst this isn't something I would use, it appeared to work very well during my tests. One thing to note is that the camera needs a standard sized SD card to use. It does not have a built in HDD. As other reviewers have pointed out, you really want to use a U3 class card for smoother footage. The higher data transfer rates greatly improve the film quality. The camcorder can be set to take still photos too and has a myriad of options that can be used in this mode (Shutter speed, EV, ISO, white balance, facial recognition... the list goes on).The microphone separate microphone performed well and clearly picked up my voice from across the room. One of my favourite features was the included fill-in light. This was very useful for vlogging videos and attaches either to the camera via a 'hot shoe' or to a tripod via a standard screw fixing. For the price I can highly recommend this for any personal use short of professional cinematography. For vlogging, it's perfect.
