Spencer’s as fast as he looks.
Having recently gotten back into model railroading, I wanted to update my Bachmann Thomas collection. I only wish my dad got Spencer sooner. His running gear is mesmerizing to watch considering how big his driver wheels are. Not to mention he runs super fast. A must for a Thomas collection.

Train was broken and in pieces when shipped.
Bachman trains are well-built, I highly recommend them and this train would have been fine if it hadn't been shipped broken. It was a used train and was sold as being in "Good" condition. However, the train was obviously broken and inoperable when it was shipped because a piece of the running gear (rods that push the wheels) was detached from the train and was included in a separate plastic snack baggie. There is no possible way that this was damaged during shipping. Even a cursory inspection of the item would have revealed to the seller that the train was broken; it was obvious to me as soon as I looked at it..

i bought this gift for my nephew as a make up settlement. He is a Thomas Train fan and loved it. He does have a huge collection ofThomas but this train needs metallic tracks so it may be beginning of a new craze.

This is an excellent HO Bachmann Train. The train works very well and I recommend this to any Thomas the Train fan.

Bachmann disappointment
I have a very upset 10 year old due to him working hard and saving up money for this train. When the first one arrived one of the front wheels had fallen off in a sealed package from the manufacturer. I sent this one back and requested a replacement. The new one arrived today and guess what? The same thing, front wheel fell off and the other wheel and shaft were floating around the still sealed package. Amazon is great, bachmann spencer sucks.
