1) It is not waterproof because the rubber seals over the USB socket, (on the two torches I bought) fell off straight away, exposing the insides to rain, - the torch will fail in wet weather.2) It only has three (not four) functions, full, half and flashing, there is no SOS flash mode.3) Brightness is the same as on half mode on a 1000lumnes torch I have and less bright than a 700 lumens torch I have, so I question the 800 lumens rating, (it is probably about 500 lumens). But still bright enough.4) On max zoom there is a hatched pattern (from the bulb) in the light beam and you have to zoom out a bit to clear it and give a clear light.5) The Power Switch turning green is just a drain on the battery. You do not need a green light to tell you the torch is on (you can see the light beam). An luminescence button is all you need and you can see that in the dark when the torch is off.6) It’s a good hand holding size, nice pocket size and light. Clip is useful for rucsac handsfree.7) It feels solid and well built, just a problem about the USB seal, a better design is required. Its quicker to charge than unscrewing the end cap, but this means ITS NOT WATERPROOF.8) I think £10 is a good price but its NOT WATERPROOF and that’s why I bought it I want a torch that’s rechargeable and I can take out hiking with me, as it will be in the rain.

used this last night for first time on a rough mountain bike track and rough landrover track for about an hour and it was brilliant, gives of a great adjustable beam of light, purchasing another......I have now used this and can now say that the batteries don't last 2 bike trips....in my opinion it is rubbish

Did not last a single ride. The light would cycle between strobe or sos or switch off when I would go over a minor bump. By the time I got to an A road with 6 miles more To reach home the light conked out completely. When I got home I also realise that the lens cover has fallen off and list completely. I would say please save your money if you are intending to take it for a bike time even with a few bumps.

Got this as was desperate for next day delivery and these looked good. No instructions, batteries won't fit, can't fit battery holder and plastic sleeve in, can't work out how to get the batteries in, no help in going back to product description. Never buy stuff in a rush - the description says, 'battery powered', but also says no batteries required.And I can't even return them and get replacements in time. Learn from my mistakes.

Best torch I've ever used! You could blind someone with it! Great to find my dog at night when he hides in the back yard!

super bright able to see for a distance with the zoom. Works with both the 3AAA batteries and the 18650
