Monster Smash Ups Remote Control Car RC Off Road Truck, Raptor Yellow

Bought two and within a month of light use one has no motor drive.

I don’t often write reviews but felt this was well worth it. We bought the newer version of this (the older version has mixed reviews) go my son who is 6. What a great toy. As a RC car it is brilliant with a good speed and turning circle. It will go on all surfaces and has no problem driving over small objects like feet!! The joy of this for a 6 year old comes from crashing into things and watching the car body break into 4 pieces and the man fly out with his ‘Aaarrgghhh’ noise. It took him a couple if supported attempts before he could assemble it himself and it’s very similar to construct as mega blocs so only takes him about 10 seconds before he is off driving again. I would recommend this toy without hesitation. Just make sure it’s the updated version where it appears they’ve fixed all the glitches of the first model. If the driver is sat in the car when you look at the box it’s the older model. On the newer model the driver is outside.

I bought the monster trucks for my grandson's birthday he loves them. He had many battles with his younger brother and they were amused for hours. The colours of the trucks are interchangeable with four figure and four controls.The ramp adds to the fun as my grandsons raced the trucks and crashed on the ramp pushing one another off. The trucks make realistic noises and when he is thrown out the driver yells.I would definately recommend this game

The actual car is really well made and solid but we did have a few issues with the remote control. Gary , the seller/business has been nothing but brilliant. He has been in constant contact and sent replacements with no issue whatsoever.Issue now sorted and my 7 yr old absolutely loves his smash up. Great noise when the man comes flying out too. Highly recommended!

My son received a Monster Smash Up Truck last October and within a few weeks, the USB charger broke off in our PC. I was unable to find a replacement to fit the toy so I attempted to contact the manufacturer direct by email to explain what had happened and request a replacement charger. I had no response. I tried again. Nothing. I emailed Amazon with the same request. No response. Consequently, my son has a completely useless toy sitting in his toy box, that he has hardly been able to play with at all and his Grandma is thirty something pounds out of pocket. I am hoping that this review might trigger a response from Amazon or the manufacturer, and will let you know the outcome!! In the meantime, I recommend that you do not buy this product!

Great Christmas gift , everyone loved them from age 5 to 35, great fun and lots to enjoy. Batteries do not last too long but soon recharge, compatible with Duplo

Bought this for my 3 year old and he absolutely loves building it and crashing it into the wall.. It's good quality for the price and can recommend it.

Edit: after an hour's play, the forward-backward motion stopped working, referring this toy useless.Our five year old daughter liked this quite a bit. It might be considered stereotypically as a "boy's" toy because it's blue and it's a car that smashes up but this is something that can and should be enjoyed by girls as well.It's easy to use and set up and while the battery only lasts for about twenty minutes, in truth that is long enough before little attention spans start to wander. It's easy to charge up again via USB.In all, this toy is one that you won't mind your child breaking and there'll be no tears when they do, only giggles!
