KOOL BREEZE SOLAR HAT Male Palm Leaf Cowboy Hat w.Band

When I bought my husband his first smart phone, he thought it was stupid. Why would anyone want to carry a phone around with them all the time?Now, it is with him constantly. When I bought him his fit bit, he thought that was stupid too. Who needs to count everything they do? Now, he is very aware of how much exercise he gets and rarely does under 11,000 steps a day. So, I wasn't surprised when he declared this hat the stupidest thing I had ever bought. After wearing it for a few outings, though, he turned to me and said, "You know, it really does help keep my head cool."He isn't a cowboy hat kind of guy, but he loves the fan and how it cools his bald head. Another win for me..

I was skeptical about this hat. I was looking for a good hot weather hat that would allow good air circulation for a trip last August (to watch the eclipse). This thing may look ridiculous but once I tried it, it was the only hat I used in sunny conditions. The fan moves far more air than I'd expected. It's a little strange, you'll find yourself wanting to stand in the sun instead of the shade because your head's cooler when you're in the sun! Two notes, when I got mine it was a little misshapen from the box, using steam I eventually got if back but I wish they were packaged a little better. Second a wider brimmed version (like a lifeguard style hat) would be great! I'd get one of those!

This is the greatest and most ridiculous thing I have ever purchased. Initially bought it as a gag gift, but after a family trip to Florida in a particularly oppressive heat wave, we all found ourselves fighting over this hat. Instead of running for shade, whoever wore The Hat started seeking out the brightest sunbeams for some much needed forehead cooling action. The fan turns on pretty quickly in the sun, too, so you're not waiting forever for the panel to warm up. It's pretty quick action - stand in the sun and be cool!

Got the hat one day after it was shipped. Fells a lot better made than the cheaper ones I have been buying. The solar fan works great I can feel the fan blowing my hair all around inside the hat. You can feel the fan and hear it when it's on your head but if you take it off and look at it while it's on you can barely hear it or feel it spinning. I love it. Made my hot summer days a lot kooler!!

Impressed! Yes, you will look funny. But after standing in the hot sun you'll quickly grow to like it, and even enjoy the dork-factor. People that laugh I offer to let them try it on. They are all impressed.I work outside a lot in the Texas hot sun, and this hat really helps me stay comfortable.

I’m very impressed with this product. The fan generates an impressive breeze when in direct sunlight. The accompanying video shows the hat sitting indoors - the sunlight is hitting it through the window.

Really revs up in bright sunlight and the breeze feels good on the top of my head. Good quality, hope it lasts.

This is a very silly hat. The fan does make noise, but pretty much just tickles the top of my head. Doesn't really cool you down when it is over 100 degrees. I did buy it because it was silly though, so its exactly what I expected!
