23 Gauge is a Farce
Irregardless of the false 23 ga claim, the actual wire manufacturers stamp that appears on all the cables in the industry says 24 GA. Heck all you have to do is read the cable JACKET! But besides that I have compared the construction of this cable compared to others on Amazon and it fills the bill for me. There are many of these that claim a CAT 8 spec but I can't see how you can get a CAT 8 spec on any cable smaller than a 26 ga. Some of these are as small as 32 ga. and I suspect they are more of a CAT 6 or 7 (maybe) so buyer beware. I am using it on an hi-res audio system and didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for this cable solution. When I first plugged it in it had a harder presentation but as more time was put on the cable this smoothed out with a more vacuous quieter presentation compared to a Cat5 cable I was using. A low cost improvement!.

Durable, high speed cable for a great price
I'm no Ethernet cable expert , but this cable seems like a solid, durable cord. Sturdy, has a good weight to it, not too stiff, not too flappy. It definitely gave me way better internet speeds. A noticeable difference compared to the cat6 I was previously running.

yes i know, cat8 but it’s worth it.
all my other cables would wear out break or stop working this one has been going on strong for years now and i’m so happy i finally found one that works for me, just give it shot!

Feels heavy duty
They seem to advertise as thicker gauge than the others, I didn't measure it but it does feel that way. Paired wires are well wrapped. I have no complaints, I purchased a second one.

Sturdy cable
Sturdy cable, working well for the application I'm using it for, (shorter run from modem to router). It's thick and may not be the best choice for bending too much

PROBLEM FREE !
NO PROBLEM RIGHT OUT OF THE PACKAGE ! Of course these were are overkill for my 250mb Comcast internet system, but I like OVERKILL at a reasonable price.

where is the spool? ;-) I want to wire my home with this stuff.
future proof my home for 10 yrs. or more? but either way, the speed of this wire should be useable for a long time under the current growth of bandwidth/speed in the breadbasket of the United States.

Excellent CAT8 modem to router
I use this 3ft CAT8 cable between modem and router. Router feeds a few CAT6 cables and several WiFi devices. Speed certainly isn’t an issue for this cable. Recommended. Made in China. Great packaging.
