I'm African American with 4b/c high porosity hair. Nearly all of my hair on my left back side (everything from nape going up about 4 or 5 inches) broke off from over manipulation (touching up microlocs too often) and lack of proper moisture over several months. I started with maybe 3 - 4 inches in the areas impacted and when I ordered this product the areas had anywhere from a 1/10 to 1/4 inch. SEVERE breakage. But most of my follicles are still intact.I was looking for something that would accelerate regrowth, so that hopefully by the time I have to start going back to work (guessing mid June/early July) the impacted areas are long enough to add extensions to (maybe an inch or a little over).I was skeptical of this working since I didn't see alot of reviews specifically for afro hair. But I needed something thin so I wouldn't have to worry about buildup.Once I got this I used it 2 or 3 times a week. Since I was covering so much of my scalp I still went through a tube a week.However, I'm down to my last treatment from my last tube of my first box, and as of last week I had enough length in most of the impacted areas I was treating to make tiny french twists, which is maybe a half inch. It didn't do anything for moisture retention but it defintiely accelerated my hair growth. In three weeks my length doubled at minimum. This stuff works.I also have scarring alopecia on my temples, I applied the serum there too for the scant baby hairs growing around my bald areas. The baby hairs grew out a bit and are thicker, thick enough that I was able to make some new small locs at the front because I was getting a loose afro/grown out loc look in the front.I will try to remeber to post some pictures before and after my second box for visual proof. It's pricey if you are trying to regrow large scalp areas but it is effective. And if you care for the new growth properly it won't take long to have enough hair to put into a protective style, or to leave untouched under a weave or wig for a few weeks to let the hair grow out loose.Highly recommend, it's worth it.

I am about as skeptical as they come. I have seen so many ads for all sorts of anti aging products including hair products. I actually thought they were pretty much all the same. My hair started thinning and losing it's life, shiny and silky texture over the last few years. I also noticed more hair than usual in the drain lately and realized how thin my hair was about the temples. Very dry and lifeless. I always had a beautiful full head of hair with tons of body. It's pretty devastating when you start losing your hair. I was desperate to find SOMETHING. I first tried castor oil and castor oil products. Honestly, didn't do much of anything for my hair. Then I saw the ad for the CEL MD shampoo and conditioner on FB. Not once, but several times. I immediately thought...another scam! I decided to read some of the comments and saw mostly positive feedback so I decided to go online and research real consumer results. I would say the majority of them were really good to amazing. I gave it a shot and ordered the shampoo and conditioner.My husband and I both starting using it and we are amazed at how this had essentially turned back the hands of time. My hair is so shiny and full of body. My roots no longer feel stiff and sparse. My husband has curly hair and this had restored life to his hair as well which is fuller and curlier than I've seen in quite some time. Obviously all products are NOT the same.It is only because of how awesome the shampoo is that I decided to purchase the hair growth serum and give it a try. So far, so good. It is quite simple to apply and it appears that I should get a month out of each tube, even using two to three time a day. Of course, it will take time to see how my hair fills in but after seeing other results and the shampoo and conditioner living up to the claims made by CEL MD and many of the reviews I read, I am extremely optimistic that this will work just as well. I will definitely give an update in a month with before and after photos with my and my husband's results. I'm excited!!!

I used this and the shampoo/conditioner for about a year. Noticed very little change. I have dry/damaged hair, so decided to switch to another brand shampoo/conditioner to help with damage, and gave up on trying to find something to help with regrowth. It’s been a few months, and I’m losing a lot more hair - and have a lot more thinning. The thinning area is where I used the serum previously. I hope the damage is reversible, but if it’s not, this just accelerated the hair loss dramatically. Please don’t fall victim to this stuff, it’s not good for your hair. Don’t listen to the fake reviews saying it works.

I received my product on the 11th September and was very disappointed with the very short expiry date of end of October 2021.It is obvious to see that this is old stock. Not happy.

It was a very bad, please do not believe them and spent your money for nothing, it even made my hair gets worse.

I now have shampoo conditioner and the serum , my hair is looking the best ots looked for years. 😁

Didn't work for me, may work for some, but did nothing for me unfortunately

Received this item on the 24th of September 2021. Product recommends to be used for 8 weeks so there's no way this product can be used for the full directed use, as expriy date of the product is on the 3rd October 2021.
