Overall a great scooter for the unbeatable price!
So, I've had my scooter for about a week now and have used it mainly to commute to work twice (16 miles Rtp). I took it out today for a trip in town to the Reading terminal market. Keep in mind I'm no tech expert but just a guy that saw a kool looking electric scooter at an unbelievable price in comparison to many other electric powered bikes & scooters I searched through. It looks bad-ass and seems to be pretty sturdy for the city & park. Not really made to drop off high curbs so be careful off curbs or bottom may scrape. Mind you I don't really feel I should use it to commute in the "Rush hour traffic" part of the day as I typically do on 49cc motor bike. It goes pretty steady and sometimes the top speed seems to vary between 20 to 28mph (High) depending on charge, wind conditions, and on level ground on a straight away. I love the surprise though as it matches my gas bike. Uphill will be slower given there are no pedals to assist as on an ebike but it's steady and builds up. Just keep to the side out of the way of traffic if no bike lane as it won't be fast enough to clear the block without holding up impatient drivers behind you on a one way. Many streets in Philly are one way! I believe in the minds of drivers, you register as a motorcycle but they won't be aware it's just a escooter so beware of drivers if in the street. It went together well and came with a nifty multi-purpose tool to help assemble what had not been pre-assembled. Be certain to check/tighten all crucial nuts & bolts over all working parts. The components seem of quality such as the comfy seat, disc brakes, fork, grips and throttle etc. My only worry would be, to be mindful of not leaning the scooter to the right as there is only kick stand support on the left. Scooter can tip over to the right if parked on a slight/loose incline which doesn't favor leaning firmly left. I'm just completing the complete depletion of the battery for at least 3 times to start and charging regularly as of tomorrow as suggested by instructions. Idk what else to say but I also joined Artnin on facebook and had great feedback and help from George Artnin. Month later: I just added a rear fender embellishment to prevent my backside from getting wet. Hammered some copper & aluminum, it was a fun project! Enjoy!

Solid piece of machinery
First off, I have obsessed over buying an e bike, electric skateboard, battery powered unicorns....you name it. I currently cruise around on a long board. This design checked that box. It is black....check! Big fat rear tire....check. SOLID down tubes.....I mean roll cage solid. Check. Takes some patience and basic knowledge of simple hand tools (included btw) to assemble. I didn't locate any instructions in the package or a mention of assembly manual.....it's on the website. Once this treasure map is located it's smooth sailing from there.Update. I should have bought 2 or 3.

Great price for a great scooter!
When I purchased this, there weren't any reviews. After taking the great price point and photos at face value I made the purchase. Shipping was fast, and got here without much hassle. After assembling, I ran into an issue with the engine not moving when turning the throttle. The first scooter was essentially a fancy brick at that point. However, the happy ending to this, is within a few hours I had a reply from Artnin Scooters, and they sent me a replacement within the week. The new replacement scooter assembled with little to no issues, besides the front tire cover not wanting to fit on correctly. I've never assembled a bicycle myself before, so it was a bit of a challenge. The website is where the manual is, and it's mostly helpful. I'd recommend adding more steps to clarify certain details, like how to properly mount the brake calipers. The side mirrors are a bit of a pain to adjust, but otherwise daily use of the scooter has proven to be a fun and good purchase. The overall construction is high quality, with no issues on the battery life. All tools are provided in the box, although I'd recommend having a ratchet set and pliers handy for any weird issues you may have.I've had my scooter for a few weeks now, and it runs pretty good! I'm a bigger guy (265 LBS) and this really can get me going. On average on a flat road, I can get 20-25 MPH no problem. Going uphill is a different story, dropping down to about ~5 MPH. It's not unusable, as it's still faster than walking, and you can always kick to boost up a little bit. I think the fastest I've gotten is clocked around 35 MPH, so I'd wear a helmet.Overall, I think this scooter deserves all 5 stars, despite my initial reaction. If you're leaning on whether or not to get it, I'd say go for it!

Low profile, sleek styling, good components, good customer care.
Well out of the box my unit arrived damaged but they promply shipped some new parts. Major kudos to them. After owning it for a few weeks now and learning its quirks i must say its quite a joy to ride and really does appear to be great hardware. Simple sleek design, Many compliments on it, Very sturdy, good brakes, good range, quiet motor.Yes it is a bit challenging to assemble. If you know anything about bikes then its a non issue. Honestly for the price its worth figuring it out.Its plenty fast on flats, tad slow up hills, can leg it up steep hills with low speed assist. Rides really nice even with hardtail and geometry is pretty good. Overall amazing product just need to be mechanically inclined to assemble well.

The exception where too good to be true, actually is.
I've been looking for something quick, cheap and simple to get around 116 acres of dirt roads and sandy river beach. It started raining just as I finished up so don't have many miles on it yet, but I have to say this is an amazing value for what it cost. The online manual could use a few more photos and step details, but if you've worked on bikes, you'll be fine. The hard stuff is already assembled. I had one minor issue with a raw edge on the fork tube, but a file fixed the issue. Other than that, it went together well with no problems. The quality and function are what they advertise. And it's a fun casual ride for the conditions I have. Great price for what you get.
