This item, the IQIYI Lighting to 3.5 mm Headphones metal case jack adapter cable, works wonderfully, it's great. Good sound quality for phone calls, and I wish that either (a) I had two or three of these, and (b) that i had never gotten the darn iphone. Not having headphone jacks is ridiculous, bad UI design, and terrible for customers. But this IQIYI adaptor has worked great, I love it.Edit: A few months later, it's still going strong and I still love it. And interestingly, I will add that the wire seems thicker than the real Apple part. What I want to add though, is that I also bought (I'm stuck with multiple godforsaken Apple products with no godforsaken headphone jacks) an Apple brand OEM adaptor from a brick and mortar store for $9.00, and I can confirm that the Apple product also works for voice too. (Through trial and error combined with reading reviews carefully, I'm not aware of any of the combination products (charger plus headphone adaptor WITH microphone) working as expected.

This product works exactly as described. I shoot work videos from my iphone and I can connect Mics to it. Sound quality is great! highly recommend

Works great, including allowing voice through headphones with a mic. Although it does seem that with any of these adapters you tend to sound distant to the other person.

I'm afraid when I actually use it and lose track of myself that the headphones and the adaptor might become loose or come apart. It seems like it will effect the sound quality.

A solution to switching from those ear cutting earbuds that are included and wondering why remove a well known feature, sure Blutooth is the answer but what about those who don't want that to their question. You adapt. Take your choice of comfort to be able to talk using whatever, however and this will bring it.

A little expensive but worth it because it works exactly as advertised.

Got the IQIYI [Apple MFi Certified] Metal Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter based on the description it would support quote "POWERFUL FUNCTION - Enjoy Music control". Well it works, the mic works and I used it someday and I realized the volume control does work with Apple original EarPods, so it does what it says. I just plug the headphones into the adapter first, then the adapter in the phone. Decent, well priced. Moving to 5 stars .Initial review title: Works but no music / volume controlAnd altered the following: "but the music control, as well as volume control does not. I am using the Apple EarPods. THIS IS A SCAM...Is not compatible. Wrong colour. Does not work. Fell apart when removing from phone. This is not an accessory it is a physical virus

Broke after just a few usage.Works with apple product, no compatibility issues, but as of durability, forget it !Consider other product
