Deceptive
I was looking for something that I knew definitely wouldn't damage a barrel when used and that also wouldn't give false readings when trying to clean copper fouling. This seemed to be the ticket. When I bought this, there was this one which was priced at 2 dollars and something, and another one that was 10 bucks with free shipping (Prime). I said well, the 10 dollar one HAS to be better. Incorrect. A few weeks after ordering this item, it seems they have consolidated the two separate listings and now have it listed as this item for 2 something plus 8 and change shipping. This is essentially what you get - a cheap, 2 dollar piece of plastic. While nylon is a plastic, I would characterize this as 2 dollars worth of cheap Chinese plastic, not the 'nylon' item that you might pay 10 dollars for expecting a quality product.I haven't used it yet as it takes considerable force to even screw onto my cleaning rod. I'm looking into purchasing a higher quality rod and will attempt it again with that...although I am looking for other options because it doesn't make sense to use this 2 dollar item with a quality rod...and not to mention a quality firearm.Would not buy again. Very deceptive pricing.

Not impressed with the fit in a .40/ 10mm
I've got to fold a patch just right for this to work. The 9mm nylon jag I've got is great but this doesn't fit nearly as well. I've not used it with a .45 but I'd imagine it's worse since it's too small for the .40.
