Great book, goes with lessons
Purchased the book to used with the Reading Eggs program for our 4 year old. She is doing great. I really like the amount of pages and activities dedicated to each letter. It is a good sized book with great content for learning the alphabet and beginning sight words.

Great book!
We purchased this book to try alongside the Reading Eggs program for our kindergartener who was struggling to remember letters after doing Hooked on Phonics for a few months. We watch the lesson and then do the workbook pages, so far so good. I really like the amount of pages and activities dedicated to each letter vs one page of letter tracing. The Reading Eggs app is great alongside this, but I imagine it would work well on it's own as well, it's a good sized book with great content for learning the alphabet and beginning sight words.

Absolutely Love this!!
This book along with the reading eggs website is awesome. It really helps ease children into learning. Especially if you have a child that is not able to attend school because of their birthday, but they are really smart and eager to learn. Children will pick up the information really quickly!! Very pleased with this purchase!

Pre-K and Mid-Year Kindergarten Level Workbook
The media could not be loaded. Pre-k LevelPro: this would have been an excellent book last year and the prior year when my child was in pre-k. My 6 year old who is in Kindergarten love the colorful pictures but think it’s for a baby and want to give the book to our 3 year old neighbor. I haven’t decided if I will return the book or pass it off to my 5 month old niece for future use. I purchased the 1st grade version of this book to see if it’s more at the kindergarten level. I think this would be good for a “K” student who is just learning Phonics. My daughter have been exposed to phonics since she was three with slow but steady level of teaching so it wouldn’t overwhelm her. She moved into blends, vowel teams and digraphs last year. We do two pages a day of Spectrum Phonics grade 1 for refresher then 2 pages of 180 Days of Reading K and 1 lesson of 180 Days of Reading grade 1. If we end up on a story in the K book we skip the 1st grade book for the day. Then we do Spectrum Sight words Grade 1 and Reading Activities. Of course she has bi-weekly spelling words (sight words) which is 18 words. We will start Spectrum language arts K in March. I list these other books because it’s so hard to pick the right booksI have a mountain of books and these arethe best. P.S. My daughter also reads one fiction book every night. We love learning dynamics readers, all about reading readers, and first little readers. When my daughter was three we used ABC Mouse and Learning Dynamics CD to get my daughter started then YouTube Alphabets and phonics by Have Fun Teaching along with magnetic letters and my daughter picked up reading with little struggle. We also watched other YouTube videos for blends and teams. The hard part was finding the workbooks.
