This product did exactly what I needed it for. The thickness of the metal is more than adequate and holds strong to the wire when crimped properly. Picture these as your normal butt connectors, only without the colorful insulation. Finish off the job with heat shrink tubing and you're left with an aestetically pleasing and professional connection.

Simple product as expected. Slightly larger than other models I've used.

The only butt connectors I can find locally all have plastic covers on them that prevent soldering without removing the unneeded plastic. These bare connectors combined with heat shrink are exactly what I need to make secure wiring connections. The connectors accept solder well and are a good value for the money.

solder wires together inside butt connector and use heat shrink over makes for a very neat, strong repair. kit came with 280 pcs all together . 22-16 awg 150 pcs 50 extra pcs,12-10 awg 80 pcs,16-14 awg 50 pcs 50 pcs short I did not mind that the kit was short the 50 pcs of 16-14as the 22-16 is the one I use the most

Way too many for my requirements. I only needed a couple of connectors for the repair I need to do. But there were few choices and these appeared to fulfil my requirements. Good quality and a useful box.
