Kollage Yarns Square Circular 9 inch (23cm) Knitting Needle Firm Cable Size US 0 (2.0mm)

Don't bother trying this - I use HiyaHiya and Chiaogoo 9" circs all the time but decided to try these because I have other square Kollage needles I really like. These are really bad. The cable is too stiff (makes it awkward, not unusable), the metals tips are not slick (doesn't feel good in the hand and yarn has to be moved more than it should), and worse the needles are on differently - hard to explain but one needle seems to curve out while the other curves in. I noticed that right away but used them anyway in case it was some clever design feature instead of a manufacturing flaw. I got through an inch on a sock and switched to a HH. Seriously, trust a sock knitter and don't waste your money on the experiment.

I wanted to try knitting socks with 9-inch circulars. I had bought two other well known brands and I like one of the other ones better. But if anything ever happened to that one, I would say this is my next best. The needles are smaller than the other brand so I get hand fatigue a lot faster with this needle than the one that has just a slightly larger needle. Otherwise I love the square design better than the other company's needle. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase.

The joins on this needle are awful! The needle is supposed to be a size 0 (2mm), but the join itself is a size 1. I feel like I'm fighting stitches the whole way around because they are getting stuck at the join point. One needle is spinning around. I'm not sure if that is intentional, or if it's going to fall off, as this is my first set of Kollage needles.
