đ A SMALL Price for EPIC Security! Will EXCEED All Expectations!
Updated 7/2019 Just added The AI version of this exact cam and it is crazy amazing especially the 360 Yi AI Dome that detects humans pets takes a Micro SD of 128! Has 2 way talk unlike this version (still LOVE and recommend highly this exact listing model), also has Time Lapse meaning watch your Baby, Pregnancy, even Plants grow in a matter of seconds with this amazing feature. Above all exceptional security device! Even the talk through set up has superior sound with noise canceling so all audio is as crystal clear as the picture. Yi is a Sony partner). A little known gem that is picking up momentum now and selling out! But before inflation strikes!Original Review:So much hype over Top Brand cams and Yi may seem too good to be true and honestly felt like a riskâ such an epic risk! Tried them all and have NEVER been this Satisfied (been there bought the All then Yi).April 2019 UpdateConsider yourself lucky to have this Yi set of 4 and for a few extra bucks you can purchase the 4 set of 1080 (honestly I donât notice much of a pixel differenceâ I also purchased the 1080 Yi Dome full 360 scanning- can be mounted anywhere and how you wish and is excellent with following sound and motion- great at spotting my 4 lb quite dog).Thought this deal was too good to be true! More true than I ever realized. It's now Almost May 2019 very well over a year since ordering this set of 4 YI cams and they are still going strong as the very best I have ever purchased and cannot believe the most inexpensive cams are kicking Amazon to Nest Cam (Nest cam didn't even last 3 months- Yi base can be attached to a strong magnet much like Nest) in the butt. Full stop! The picture quality is awesome even though it's not 1080 itâs honestly hard to tell the difference for myself personally and I own a 5k . Also, the motion and audio are far superior without a lag like the other cams especially Amazon's Blink Cam (super lag if it even comes on even though it is very close to itâs own router and set to my Google router that sends strong signals to active devices enhancing performance significantly just not wit AMZ cams).⢠Order the Micro SD 8mb cards to keep costs down. Yi will cost $100 per Yi cam for the year of cloud service A total of $400 or 500 for my with the Dome)⢠PRO: if you need to capture something you can just save the footage from the Yi app with itâs share functions easily as well without cloud by simply utilizing the clip share options (many) to save since SDâs play over themselves.⢠I purchased cloud on my main cam and they refunded me 6 months in. Very flexible and superior customer service.Yes, you do get 1 FREE month of cloud âď¸ with Yi.____________YES, this fits the Amazon Cloud Cam Mount perfectly and USB-C extension cables up to 20ft plus.Pairing has never been easier!FINALLY these Cams Pair Effortlessly and give talking instructions to you step by step very quickly (yes, it will wait if you need a minute) to have them all paired and running. Pair before mounting and can be unplugged and moved with no worry. Honestly, I have been through the gamut and had to return every single security cam on the market, but YI is truly spectacular.Original Review:⢠Arrived quickly on a Sunday::.⢠I feel safe today! đ⢠Cool pairing features, YI talks you through set up and a provides a how-to-video which most wil not even need with taking instructions.⢠Has voice mic and audio on phone, laptop, tablet⢠Shows shots clips, but you can select to view full clip.⢠Has a choice of sensitivity features, so, you are not notified by light flickering etc⢠Clear night vision.⢠Can select a specific spot in each room like a window or doorways that YI heightens attention to extra attention to that specific area in a room by moving and adjusting zone too small or as large you'd like.⢠Privacy pin per cam for sharing purposes.⢠You will find out a new cool feature every time you click around. Even put all 4 cams on your smart TV.⢠You can actually see more of the room by simply moving your phone in either direction!⢠Knocks Nest Cam and all of Amazon Cams out of the water... Or into it.⢠Even better thought out security features than any cam I've purchased on the market (the list goes on).⢠If facing out of the window turn off the visual sensor to avoid glare.⢠Simple move your phone in and direction you wish to view to utilize its wide angle lens.⢠You do not need to use the white base making it so much more elusive. One I have set like a Spy Cam and simply turn off indicator light and oh the fun things you catch.⢠Price is unbeatable for the quality, innovative functions, has every feature youâd expect and more!Tip:Update each camera's firmware as prompted as each cam will ask and guide you before insterting micro SDâs.⢠Firmware will continue to auto-update so itâs a non thought.See more innovative cams from Yi at the best prices you will be impressed with their wide selection of truly useful options. The only CON (Literally):I did not think to replace my bad cams sooner when it couldâve been my greatest witness in court. The person that committed a crime in my home is still in prison, but with Yi footage they wouldâve been locked away for 25 years (huge mistake on my end). Seriously. I also wouldâve recieved a much larger restitution settlement that I truly needed. Your great life can be turned upside down so randomly and have a bigger effect than imaginable. Again, seriously.IF YOU DO NOT OWN CAMS BIG MISTAKE.In my peaceful neighborhood I never once thought Iâd be a victim in my wildest dreams. My former way of thinking, âwhy do I need to even bother?â.This is a MUST HAVE. I donât care what cams you choose just as long as you have every angle covered of inside and outside your home. This is not something to ponder to long on or it could very well too late statistically.

Good camera and features, but expensive cloud storage
I have had the 4 pack of 720P cameras for over a year and the camera works well. The round camera (the black circle) will separate from the white stand. Everything is in this black body; lens, microphone, speaker, SD card slot, and USB connection. This is useful should you wish to mount the unit in something else, or paint the stand to blend in without having to mask off the camera itself. Each camera comes with its own USB cable that is about 2 meters/6" long and an wall mount USB power adapter. The cables are the standard micro USB type connections used on most current Android phones with a standard USB PC connection at the other end. I bought some USB cables that were 25' long (about 7-8 meters) on Amazon that worked well. I have seen cables up to 100', but they need an amplifier past 30'.The picture is really clear, even at night with IR. The camera records at 15fps (frames per second). TV is 30fps. So anything moving too fast will blur.Today, I would check the 1080P version, especially for larger areas like a yard or for security purposes where a clear picture with lots of detail may be needed to identify someone. The 1080P 4 pack of cameras was only a $5 more when I wrote this review. The only reason I can think of to go with the 720P cameras is if you have very slow Internet, less than 10Mbps. The bandwidth of these 720P cameras is half of the 1080P cameras. The upstream bandwidth needed for each 720P camera is .5Mbps. The 1080P cameras are double at 1Mbps. So they would use 2 vs. 4Mbps for 4 cameras if you stream all of them steady. With motion detection, the cameras only stream when there is activity in view, so this may be even less of an issue. You will need DHCP active as you cannot hard code the IP on the cameras. Each camera needs an IP. Most every router has DHCP. But if you have a large number fo devices, you may need to expand your DHCP scope. See your router manual if needed.Ensure your router supports the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal (802.11 B, G, N). The 5GHz band is not supported. Most routers support only 2.4GHz or have an option to do both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz. There are a few exceptions. It comes with some simple step by step directions. Setup is very easy and the app is very easy to use and has some nice features. The app talks you through setup as well. You can turn off the LED light on the camera on or off so it appears off and does not light up the room at night. The cameras can be set to detect motion and also a baby crying and show an alert on your phone. A cheap home security system when you are away. Or useful to monitor to room. If you have kids that are not allowed in a room, i.e. hidden presents, a kitchen or basement with dangers. You can catch them in the act and have a two way conversation with them in real time. You can set a PIN on each camera, unique or the same for all. With an iPhone 6 and newer you can use a fingerprint for authentication instead of typing in the PIN each time.If you wish to go back and review activity later on, you will need an SD card or cloud storage. I recommend both in case your Internet or the service drops. The camera can be set to record always or only record when activity is detected saving what you need to review, bandwidth if you do cloud storage, and fit more data you care about on the SD card.No SD cards come with the cameras, they are an optional purchase. You can insert your own 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB Class10 micro SD card in each camera to record activity. 32GB is the maximum size, larger cards will not work. The app will tell you if the SD card condition is good or not. The recording will loop when the card fills up.I have had no issues with the Samsung PRO Endurance 32GB Micro SDHC Card, ASIN B07B98GXQT which specifies for use in continuous recording cameras. These were a few extra $ over others, but I've had no problems or regrets. Reviews show problems with some of the other less expensive SD cards. Unless you have an 8GB or 16GB mSD card on hand, buy the 32GB SD cards. There is very little if any difference in cost between these sizes. The other option is optional cloud storage. You get a free 30 day trial to 7 day motion activated cloud storage for just one (1) camera. The one camera limitation is not listed in the description above. When I tried to add other cameras the free option was no longer listed and they would not add to the plan. It shows a subscription is required. When I wrote this on March 8, 2019, I found the price for the cloud storage was cheaper on their web site than in the app. Go to their web site to sign up. A 7 day retention plan for 24hour continuous recording for 1 camera, or 5 cameras with motion detection recording enabled starts at US 84.99/year or 24.99/3 months in the app vs. 66/year on the web site. Still seems expensive. Plans with longer 15 and 30 day retention are also available at higher cost. It's not apparent what the charge is if you have more than 5 Yi cameras. This possibility is not listed in their FAQ, so I'm guessing you need a second account and plan. The app will support more than 5 cameras, itâs just the cloud storage I am not sure of. I did not find a published privacy policy regarding what the camera captures. Thatâs a big oversight these days.

Muy bueno equipo con imagen nĂtido
La calidad del imagen es excelente. Me sorprendĂ.
