There was a problem with the first 1300XLZ that I received. When I connected the unit to charge the battery, there was an electrical burning odor at the charging connection port and the battery would not charge. Contacted the seller with the issue and just like their website says, they replaced my product with no questions asked and free shipping. The replacement is great. Good quality product. I have had my replacement for two weeks now and use it every night to take my dog out and I have yet to recharge it. I am going to purchase their rechargeable lanterns now.

I’m a UPS driver and during the Christmas season we end up working through the night a lot of times trying to make sure everything gets delivered. I deliver in a pretty rural area so it gets very dark at night and having a good flash light is a must when I’m trying to find the right address for a package. This flashlight has gone above and beyond my expectations when I first got it. It’s very bright and the extension part makes it great for spotting numbers on mailboxes from across the road. It’s saved me countless times when walking across yards from stepping in holes and spotting dogs before they get a chance to chase me lol. Only negative is the metal edges are really sharp and can cut you if you’re not careful. I’m thinking about making a paracord wrap to help stop that though. Overall great product, definitely recommend.

I have this model and the 1300XL and they are GREAT! They are quick to charge the battery lasts a long long time before needing a charge. The light is super bright.

I already had the 1300 base model which is the best, brightest, most rugged and dependable flashlight I have ever owned. I decided to buy the 1300XLZ to try out the focus feature plus the plug in charging feature. No problems with either, especially with the convenient plug in charging versus having to remove the battery. I use these lights to do nighttime game surveys at a hunting ranch. One battery charge will maintain brightness for at least an hour of spotlighting animals. I recommend these lights to my friends and have given several away as gifts. I made a mistake once buying a cheaper foreign made brand, and was quickly disappointed when the light failed within six months. Also, this is an American made product by a company which prides itself in hiring people with disabilities.
