The ProActive Sports Technasonic Check-Go Pro is an electronic golf ball liner that uses patented gyroscopic spin technology to identify the true balance equator—or 'sweet spot'—of any golf ball within 30 seconds. By marking this spot, golfers can improve shot accuracy, increase distance, and reduce hooks and slices. Compatible with all golf ball brands, it features a built-in alignment cup, LED indicator, and includes batteries and a marking pen for immediate use.

Great for improving your putting and removing oblong balls from your bag
I heard about this from my golf pro and decided to buy it to see if it really makes a difference. This is what I think of it:PROS:1. We have all hit golf balls that seems to have a mind of its own. What I have seen is that my ball sometimes flies straight on the way up then curves to the left or right. Or it wobbles in the air like it is trying make up its mind where it wants to go. I used this to draw a line on my ball where it is balanced. I teed up and hit the ball and I have to say that it does seem to fly straighter.2. It is easy to use. put your ball in and press the button until the light stops blinking. That is the time to take out the pen and insert it into the hole and it will draw a line on the ball.3. I use it now to see which of my balls are so oblong that they have several balance lines. I will use this on a ball twice to see if the lines are overlapping or the ball creates another line. As long as the second line is not far from the first line, I consider that ok as it could be the way I was holding the pen. But I have tested several balls that have line going all over the place. And one of those balls was the one I was using when I shot a 110. That thing would be impossible to putt straight or drive with. This doesn't make as much difference on irons or woods as they don't fly as fast as a driver. But putting really made a difference. So use it to screen the balls you are going to use is the best use of this.4. Putting with this line on the center really helped me. Just point it to the direction of your putt and see the line on the ball as it rolls. It is there you will see how important a balanced ball is. I tried an unbalanced ball and it could not keep rolling on any of the lines on the ball.5. On the top of the ball Ball Guard, there is an opening where you insert the pen to draw the top of the ball as it rotates clockwise. It is important when you Drive as you need to point the dot that you drew on top of the ball facing you when you drive. Then aim the line of the ball to your target and hit your ball.6. After playing 3 rounds with a balanced ball, I can say that I am sinking more putts and hitting more fairways.7. You can turn it over and use the bottom to redo the lines you have already drawn in case they faded.CONS:1. I really cannot think of anything.SUMMARY:I love this device and it does help me weed out bad balls so that I have confidence that I have removed the oblong balls from my bag.

Not what I was hoping for.
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted this to work. First one I recieved I had no luck with any ball I tried to balance. Titleist, Callaway, Vice it didn’t matter. And no they weren’t found balls. These were all fresh out the sleeve. I made sure the surface was level, put in fresh batteries, tried another brand of batteries and still same wobbly result.I returned that unit and had a replacement send to me. Thinking I could’ve just had a faulty unit. New one arrived and unless I recieved two faulty units back to back it’s the product. The new one does the same thing. Only now not only does it not balance but it also launches the ball and pops off the protective cage.Looking at the other reviews I see that others have had the same problem. Can I mark a ball with this? Yes. Is there cheaper things to mark balls with? Yes. I’ll go back to the epson salt balance method. While this product would be great I think it needs further development.

Great line maker (with a simple modification) use any marker
This product is given unfair reviews. It works fine BUT with some modifications.I will include pictures…I added a 2nd hole for regular size Sharpie markers to fit.I have tested the accuracy against the pre-made hole & it is perfect. I have also repeated making lines on balls multiple times with identical results. See pics:If you notice smearing on the red ball, this is because I tried to stop the spinning with my finger, and I smeared the ink by accident.

Not very consistent
I tried this on 5 brand new Titleist Pro V1x balls. It really only found the center close on 2 of them. The first ball I tried it found five different centers 🤷♂️.The 4th and 5th ones I tried twice each and once the green light turned solid, I counted to 5 and then marked it.4th is very close, 5th is off.I am really, not sure what to make of this, but it doesn’t seem consistent and with brand new balls, You would think they wouldn’t be far off.

Very pleased -- works for me
I have marked balls with this machine and played them for several rounds now. I can honestly say I believe it makes a lot of difference on drives. I am hitting them consistently more straight and longer than I was before. Even on miss hits they aren't as far off line as before. I don't think it makes as much difference for putting, or maybe I'm just not good enough to notice. I have marked balls from several different brands -- Callaway, TaylorMade, Srixon, Wilson, and Honma. They all have been more consistent off the tee.I have found with this machine if you place a ball in there and it bounces all over the place, that ball is a stinker. It's got core issues. Mark it as junk and put it in the practice bag.
