This ball is NOT a 9” diameter by a long shot. When fully inflated, it has a 32” circumference (10.2” diameter). It’s not even remotely close to correctly inflated at a 9” diameter (28” circumference). That 1” difference adds up. I’m ticked off because I was already buying at the higher end of the size that was suggested for a course I’m taking. I just went to check the actual size of my ball now and am realizing that it’s substantially larger than the recommended size for my course because it’s an 1” bigger than what’s described in the product listing. I can’t afford to buy another ball now and it won’t even get here in time for my course, so I’m stuck with this one now!I used the pump from an old air mattress to fill the ball. It took seconds to inflate. You have to overfill it when you inflate it because it loses air quickly the second the pump is turned off and the valve is unplugged, so be ready to quickly insert the plug when you stop filling it.

Using the "straw" to inflate the ball was useless. The straw was smaller diameter than the whole in the ball, so air escaped as quickly as it went in via the straw. Just manually blew it up and then trapped air with a finger and put plug back into the whole in the ball. Some air escaped during the process, but the ball was supposed to be a little squishy for the therapy, so it all worked out.

At first, I wasn’t sure how I would inflate the ball because I thought the tube was too big for the plastic insert. But after scrolling through several comments, I realized that the plastic was actually the plug. So I pushed it out and it worked. The only thing to be prepared for, is the air comes out so quick so be ready to insert the plug immediately.

I'm happy with this ball. The kit included a tube with which it can be inflated, or you can use a bicycle pump.First of all, I like the price haha. The ball is also bright and you can vary its density. I use it for my recovery and put it under my lower back when doing abs. All my manipulations so far withstands

Put your money towards a nicer ball. This ball loses so much air before you can plug it, no matter how fast you are. However my biggest issue is this is nowhere close to a 9" ball at all. Even with full inflation it would not come close. Picture next to an actual 9" ball for reference.

Cannot even get the plug out so I have no idea how it would work, I can’t use it. Instructions say to “push the plug with both hands” - does nothing. Then they say it just “easily pulls out” - no. The only way I can see that might possibly get it out is a pair of pliers or something to fit underneath and lift it and that would almost certainly puncture the ball, which would make it just as useless. Only gave it a one star because you can’t go lower.Edited to add that I did finally manage to get the plug out; it took a number of tools and considerable time to do so. It does not appear to be punctured, but I have not put any weight on it yet to see if it stays inflated.

I’m not pleased! Its easy to inflate with the little straw. It’s not firm even when it’s full of air. I put the ball under my knee and roll it on the bedsheet (look at picture). Too much hassle to return. You get what you pay for.

The ball works like you need it to but even with a electric pump, it can’t be fully inflated so always has a less than ball like appearance due to the wrinkles in the rubber material. The material seems fairly thick so I don’t expect to have any issues with it popping or leaking but I did notice a oily feel on the rubber which I don’t really want against my skin so I’ve taken to wrapping it in a small towel before I use it. All in all it works & adds intensity so I’ll give it 3 stars since I wasn’t expecting top of the line in the price range I was willing to pay
