This is an amazing life-transforming book. It gives you a concrete philosophy to guide your actions and decisions, irrespective of your nationality, region, race or gender. It presents the what appears to be many fragments of thought. But, when you read and re-read it couple of times, you will discover the unifying theme that connects all the fragments and presents you with a wonderful frame of reference to guide your decisions in any situation or context.

Highly recommend for anyone who is tired of patterns in their lives and looking to grow without necessarily renunciating life. Easy to read; I read it in one afternoon. A favorite quote on the difference between a spiritual seeker and one who is attached to and seeks material/worldly pleasures or satisfaction ...“Freedom is the one goal of all nature, sentient or insentient; and, consciously or unconsciously, everything is struggling towards that goal. The freedom which the saints seeks is very different from that which the robber seeks; the freedom loved by the saint leads him to the enjoyment of infinite and unspeakable bliss, while that on which the robber has set his heart only forges other bonds for his soul.”-Swami Vivekananda (Karma-Yoga)

Thanks to Vedanta Press, CA we are getting this knowledge. It is like no other book I have read. I could not keep the book aside. As I started reading....it completely captured my attention. I just had to read till I completed and then I re-read passages that were so deep but said so simply, in very understandable language.It is simple straight forward style communication style. it spares the reader esoteric or fancy language.Best Book I bought by chance.

Helps to understand that we should only do work trugh love, the other kind of work is selfish and bad for all humanity
