Although this is marketed as an outdoor enclosure - meaning rain tight but not waterproof - the design, specifically the presence of holes and protruding screws at the rear mean it really isn't rain tight at all. I'll deal with that by mounting on an aluminium panel and sealing all around the edge with silicone caulk but that should not be necessary.Otherwise this load center is mostly OK. Annoyingly one knockout for a 1 space circuit breaker comes removed so too bad if one doesn't want to use that position. The knockouts for cable entry are numerous but not enough for larger cables and not well positioned for larger cables either. I have had to use a hole punch to adapt the load center to my needs. There are definitely better choices out there but not at this price point.

Looks great, works great and is rated for outdoor use. The knockouts are reasonable to get out. The layout inside for breakers and terminals is good. And looking at the way it's made there should be no problems leaking and rusting/corroding inside. I used this to replace an existing box mounted outside my cabin when I purchased the place. It was an indoor box mounted outside. The inside was rusted. The lugs in the breakers were so corroded the only thing I could do is cut the wire and proceed to discard the breakers, the box and the connectors. This one should last the life of the cabin.
